https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-55294860 “A joint statement emerged just before noon with a much more positive tone than anything that's come out of late, and did not feature the usual kind of warning of big gaps between the two sides”

If you're taking a longer view, this is a bargain in my opinion. My finger hovered over the buy button today, but my money is on a no deal and red across the market on Monday. I'm often wrong, but would rather buy on the way up than on the way down.

Taken a relatively small, speculative position here on a 12-18 month view. Some short term headwinds, but results highlight significant cost reduction, strong cash generation, and substantial growth in the higher margin online business. Chart 50/50, but for me, appears to be in the early stages of a large, upward bowl recovery phase. May add on further weakness or any positive updates (Toscafund bid at 30%?).

I sold out at 128p the other day after a little jumping in and out. Was hoping for 108p today, but 112p seems to be very resilient. I think the chances of a below £1 are non-existent - unless of course there is a no deal - then anything is possible

A no-deal Brexit would complicate life for TED - an £18M hit to profits being mooted FWIW. Not sure how accurate that is, but WTFDIK? I'm out for now; no rush to buy but @ right price it's a LTBH IMO.

There was nothing surprising in the statement . Past results were bad. Some light at the end of the tunnel in the forward looking stuff. This is a recovery stock in the 90% club Not sure why people panic sell at 108p when the shares were 30% higher 2 days ago . Hey ho

Rubbish, their men's range is pretty good and good quality...a normal reaction to the numbers. Should start recovering as soon as the hot money has been flushed out. Next year, ought to be pretty good for TED imo.

I’m out. Still too heavily skewed to bricks and mortar. Product offering not that great, innovative, cheap, on trend or inspirational. And a lot of hard yards ahead. When you look at the pure onlines, or niche retailers, Ted doesn’t really standout as a “must survive” retailer. While cost cutting in the rns was good, revenue growth is elusive and I doubt will be any easier even when footfall returns

Understand what you say, but it possibly cannibalises their own sales, unless the product varies, but these three means to buy the brand are about one hundred metres apart, and the Victoria Quarter does not come cheap, even if surrounded by the likes of LVMH, Mulberry, and other high end brands.

Highly unlikely to own the concessions, rather than support then with stock/advertising at someone else's cost. Telling moment in the presentation (see PIWORLD today) where they talk about getting other people's capital to grow the business. obvious, but vital, and they do that on concessions already.
