10/5/2022 15:02 | Is this gonna go on forever as the share price drops.Bought the dips then it dips more.No rns on bids but at least the big players are loading up so that bodes well.I've set my limit order at 1.85Good luck all. | peteret

08/5/2022 20:32 | Article here names 4 bidders: hxxps://wwd.com/busi Being: Bluestar Alliance www.bluestaralliance Authentic Brands Group www.authenticbrands. Sycamore www.sycamorepartners Delta Galil hxxps://ir.deltagali All of those represent "platforms" to enable international expansion. There are benefits to both sides. For the acquired there are synergies from shared design, marketing and administration processes. For the acquirer there is first and foremost a brand of genuine heritage, look and identity to simply add alongside others as a route to growth. | aringadingding

27/4/2022 07:56 | Due diligence: 1. Historic and projected sales 2. Historic and projected margins 3. Overheads That's all | toffeeman
27/4/2022 07:16 | This rns seems to be the announcement that they are moving from phase 1 to phase 2 of the process that was outlined. They have not accompanied it with price info. As to whether this price info has or will leak, i don't know. They company could only make this progression if tosca et al were hapoy with the mooted non binding offer prices. This makes me suspect they are above 150. There is also the possibility that people are participating just to get information off ted but in this sector i don't think that seems very likely. | aringadingding
27/4/2022 06:07 | The Company has now received a number of non-binding proposals from potentially interested parties. The Board is inviting a focused selection of such parties to enter into a due diligence process under which the Company will provide information on its business to them pursuant to the terms of a non-disclosure agreement. | mip55
26/4/2022 16:34 | Getting fed up with this sold some I got at 1.47 sold at 1.505.Will buy back at 1.45 if it comes.Still holding more I got at 1.29.The lack of information is appalling. If sky news knows more than the share holders shorly its insider dealing | peteret
26/4/2022 09:35 | It's basically a closed auction with Evercore and Blackdown running it and telling the second highest bidder what the highest has offered and asking if they want to cap it. At the end of the day it comes down to how bidders value the brand - the rest of the business has no intrinsic value and can be absorbed into the buyers infrastructure. | toffeeman
26/4/2022 08:36 | With the number of ideal interested parties involved, it seems there is a fair chance the best final bid comes in well above 150, and more like 175 or 200. There were some nice positive comments in the Sky news article about how Ted Baker occupies a prominent place in British retailing, has a good store footprint etc., which did make me reflect what an ideal proposal this is for an investor. The brand simply does have authenticity, and survey results confirm appreciation of that. They are at a great price point where there is potentially a combination of volume of sales and profit margins to be had, if they get their designs right. Another article here, which has a paywall but headline says bid has been submitted: hxxps://wwd.com/busi Seems the market thinks a bid will come it around say 160p and then be rejected. I think this is too pessimistic. I also think the current management are quite suitable to deliver sustainable growth over the coming 5 years so would not be too disappointed if all bids failed. | aringadingding
