Good job I can swim then, It drops a few pence & panic panic panic, If you haven't got the stomach for investing don't invest. Instead of being short sighted c---s why don't you take short term dips as an investment opportunity & try & think where these will.be in the next 2/3/4 or 5 years time ,It was never going to be easy money with the Brexit debate on going, but when its is done & dusted it will be business very much as usual.& I see great future growth for Tw & its Sp ,but of course that's why I am an investor.& you most definitely aren't

Hmmm, interesting that Wimps have replaced their two existing brokers (Jeffries and J P Morgan) with two heavyweights (Citigroup and Credit Suisse), both "International". Maybe Wimps is positioning to explore opportunities to increase shareholder value. Seems unlikely that they have fallen out with both current advisors at the same time. Perhaps the brief is to look to be taken private now the Brexit overhang looks likely to be behind us, one way or another.

Marks,

exactly... leaseholds on houses have been around for over 20yrs....lol

and your 999 lease started in 1870 backs up my statement that they have been 'around for over a century'.. ;-)

Good industry knowledge

My first house in W London was on a 999 year lease that started in 1870. True more than 20 years
leaseholds are listed in the Doomsday Book so, I guess that industry knowledge of "more than 20 years" has paid off.

Jugears,

"lease hold has been around on housing for more than 20 years, "

you don't know the facts...

Leasehold on property has been around for over a century...I know that as a fact...

I'm referring to leasehold on single dwelling NEW builds where a government scheme promoted it... H2B promoted leaseholds on new builds and house builders misused it...

Show me another government scheme which promoted single dwelling NEW builds as leaseholds...

lease hold has been around on housing for more than 20 years, as I am in the industry I know that for fact.
