Well they expect sales to moderate and costs to rise...the point is how long can this sweet spot for builders continue....where would they be without zirp and help
To buy overpriced property?

Taffee explain your comment, Why is the outlook muted ? Imho the trading statement was excellent & would not be suprised to see tw pass the £3.00 mark in the next 12 months, I certainly do not regret by more shares over the last few weeks.

After the last few day's performance, I think the news will be sold into, I don't think we're going to see much of a gain until late in the year, however I'll be happy to be proved wrong tomorrow :))

Would have thought share price might have risen today, in advance of half yr results, if they were positive. Perhaps the MMs are trying to wrong foot us?

Foreigners must not be able to buy UK homes with "plundered or laundered cash" as part a global effort to defeat corruption, David Cameron has said.
Speaking in Singapore, the prime minister vowed to expose the use of "anonymous shell companies" to buy luxury UK properties - often in London.
The PM said his message was "London is not a place to stash your dodgy cash".
Corruption, he added, was "a cancer which is at the heart of so many of the world's problems" and must be tackled.

Of Topic..

Homeboy, for many on this BB you took us back to late 60" early 70".

Milk shakes, girls in skirts, any skirt...

Music.

Girls.

Eating out, not with the family.

Girls.

Coffee, yes coffee. not on the menu at home.

Girls.

Still for me a call to the wild side when in my dotage pass a McDonald.

Just not the same excitement.

Girls just dont figure as such a big drive, still like them, and all.

But now its more

Wimpy,

Taylor - builder - returns - 12oz fillet - saute potatoes - balsamic dressing on a side salad. - Oh Wine, OK.

What an attractive girl serving that.

Worth going to a Berger Bar all those years ago. !!

We do still enjoy a Berger, and each other.

Got in at £0.44 so very happy.

Thanks. Now another

Good short entry on any spike tomorrow, the whole housing market is heading south, it's already underway in Central London and will spread out to the rest of London & shires once the interest rate cycle kicks in, zero rates are ending as so is the party.

Housing bubble in London maybe. Prices have been pretty much static for 10 years where I live.

Couldnt be because we are in a massive housing bubble based on hmg props which at some point will burst?

The whole sector is down due to a downward trend in markets across the World, mainly created by the downturn in demand from China & general unrest throughout the EU!

Shares do drift this time of year hence the saying 'Go away in May, come back labour day' Once earnings season starts we will rise nicely into Christmas.

Good about time rates increased, personally the rise will be so little & slow that I doubt it will have any major impact as people adjust accordingly, I also doubt that mortgages offer will increase significantly & doubt that the average mortgage will see £100s of pounds per month added to the cost of a mortgage more like a year
