18/6/2020 11:03 | Helps when directors have participated, might be the reason why they were able to get away with a 4% discount rather than the 11% dilution to existing equity. | ![]() contrarian joe
18/6/2020 10:51 | I tried to buy a few this morning cheap but not a chance, I still have more than enough for future upside so not to worried, my guess now is that large investors will want more than a few pence return here so expect short term price to head to 1.70 maybe £2 in typical manipulation style. | ![]() jugears
18/6/2020 10:45 | 2019 end year Accounts. net cash £630m. Accounts receivable £161m. Trade payables - £458m. land creditors - £340m. Are they expecting tougher markets going forward so have first mover advantage, they might look pretty smart looking back in a few months time. | ![]() contrarian joe
18/6/2020 10:37 | Don't be too disheartened, apparently lots tried but couldn't get them at 140. | ![]() inaminute
18/6/2020 10:31 | Jug "If they are paying furlough back & have employed all staff this certainly goes against many comments on here" A lot of companies are paying back furlough money. As furlough money was initially intended for 3 months and TW cancelled their dividends worth £500m, I don't think they ever needed to furlough staff in the 1st place. In fact the govn/HMRC announced that there will be investigations into whether companies actually needed the furlough money... "Unfortunately for now the markets obviously see 140 as the bottom" Do they?.. It's early days..... | ![]() sikhthetech
18/6/2020 10:22 | Unfortunately for now the markets obviously see 140 as the bottom, not good for my purchase plan. | ![]() jugears
18/6/2020 10:03 | I was a bit gutted that I could have bought at 140p first thing today having bought through PrimaryBid yesterday at 145p. Yes I thought we'd open close to 145p today but not 140p. DF | ![]() ducky fuzz
18/6/2020 09:55 | nabbed a few in the Primarybid placing so have an interest in following comments here. its a placing for a positive reason and IMV our BOD would not have embarked on the exercise (and participated in the placing) if they did not see an opportunity. They have got it away at only a small discount too which is positive. share price should rise when things settle. Happy to read bull and bear comments as long as they are substantiated. ftir1 filtered - probably short - just trying to drive the share price down without any foundation. Recommend he close out now. 18/6/2020 09:28 | Some of us are happy to post what we're doing in real time. I appreciate the insight given by some. I am also holding a core and trading the rest. My trade this morning was stopped out at a small profit. Although mixed, most of the market is down today. I will see how we are looking again before market close on Friday. | ![]() craftyale

18/6/2020 09:07 | The major players have bought into this offer and they will be adjusting their final book value for at least a week, after which some will be looking for a quick profit, imo IF there's no price altering News the share price is going to float between 153p and the offer price for quite some time. | ![]() gbh2
18/6/2020 09:06 | pre-covid 19 virus tw were showing 850 million in the bank, in the space of six weeks do some think they have blown it all on staff wages, overheads!!! | ![]() martyn9
18/6/2020 09:03 | I'll see all you suckers again when this is back down to ~ £1.00 | ftir1
18/6/2020 09:00 | Sikh we won't get a special this year, Tw have always said they would maintain the normal dividend throughout the cycle, the first being around December, the 500 million is for land & future expansion & I would not want to underestimate this management team, Tw are going places IMO,If they are paying furlough back & have employed all staff this certainly goes against many comments on here IMO TW are definitely not a sell but a very strong buy, that said I am still expecting these to drop short term to 1.20/1.30 at which point I will purchase the remainder of my long term holding & sit back & watch it grow ! | ![]() jugears
18/6/2020 08:58 | I knew I had seen that name before - from the DLAR thread: Looking to get back in, where is the placing price going to be at? HodHasharon3 Jun '20 - 08:17 - 806 of 969 111p is your entry. dealy3 Jun '20 - 08:26 - 807 of 969 no mention of "funding options" in Monday's RNS, so probably no longer relevant imastu pidgitaswell3 Jun '20 - 09:12 - 808 of 969 Edit I dunno - being cynical, and having seen it happen elsewhere, I do think Monday's statement so close to the results was an effort (and a very successful one) to get the price up so that they could deliver a placement at a better price - quite probably announcing it with the results. I have no idea, obviously, but I would think a new CEO would want to deal with it (the debt issue) while he is in the early stages of his tenure and then move on to the business issues. It's not a bad thing to do, and the price will carry on up if the market has confidence - see COST for the template; a few days on from the introduction to trading of the new shares, it is carrying on up past the 75p price pre issue, and way past the 60p placement price. HodHasharon3 Jun '20 - 09:12 - 809 of 969 Entry revision: 94p HodHasharon3 Jun '20 - 09:15 - 810 of 969 Sorry about this: Predicting a 79p close. imastu pidgitaswell3 Jun '20 - 09:20 - 811 of 969 Edit Are you sure? ;-) HodHasharon3 Jun '20 - 09:29 - 812 of 969 My technical analysis skills have kept me off benefits for the past 2 months. I'm sure :-) Just a little history of said poster's price prediction talents. 'nuff said. | ![]() imastu pidgitaswell
18/6/2020 08:49 | The amount they raised is similar to the total amount of dividend they were going to pay this year, ie £500m.. They hardly going to have a placing just to distribute the same as a dividend. | ![]() sikhthetech
18/6/2020 08:49 | Sikh When they say lower land prices we are talking marginally not significantly, the government has made it easier to get planning on larger development sites which means there is more land available which also makes it cheaper, Added to that TW very cany management team & you have a very good deal, to get cheaper houses the uk needs to build more & this is not going to happen anytime soon. | ![]() jugears
18/6/2020 08:48 | Jugears is quiet this morning... With all these late nights at the office, do you think he's overslept...!? ;)) | wfl1970
18/6/2020 08:48 | Not trying to drive it anywhere fool. The markets / economy will do that. | ftir1
18/6/2020 08:46 | Amazing how advfn threads attract idiots that think they can drive a share price down by coming out with silly comments! | ![]() gbh2
18/6/2020 08:46 | The fundamentals that drag the FTSE down, will be the same fundamentals that drag TW. down. | ftir1
18/6/2020 08:44 | Back to sub-100p, but dragged down by the FTSE's second correction rather than fundamentals. | hodhasharon
18/6/2020 08:40 | There's clearly a dilution issue re the Dividend which is why I think the Special may be targetted. | ![]() gbh2 |
