‘Buys’ 3times ‘sells’ at the close.
So about 2-3m late-reported expected.

But yes I think there is a strong possibility that the FDA could grant an EUA on these results if they are positive when the two month trial is reported.

FFS how many time do we have to say, no-one will know who is on drug and who is on placebo until the end of the two month period when everyone has been dosed and the trial is unblinded.

Just stop talking nonsense!

Nobby - I also think there is a high
Likelihood that the yanks could approve SNG-001 after the end of the two week trial if it shows any improvement in those whicb have been dosed without placebo. These are not ordinary times

To put it in a wider perspective though Nobby.

You've also never known, and neither have any of us known, in our lifetime, a trial relating to a global pandemic, that has closed down society as we know it and also the global economies.

This whole scenario has a heightened awareness, interest and hope, far more than anything any of us will have been involved in or connected to, understandably.

Any 'norms' are out of the window in my opinion.

I'm not asking you to agree.

And with regard to other treatments, this is potentially a massive market so room for a number of drugs. No drugs works in all patients so you always want more than one.

This is a treatment not a vaccine!!! The result will be known in about 2 months whereas no vaccine will be ready until the end of the year at the earliest. That is why SNG is such a compelling investment.

Nobbygnome - I am new to this board and have bought a small holding.
I understand that there are a handful of companies worldwide which are also in the race to develop a vaccine for COVID-19.
Is this a winner-takes-all race? I mean, if a US company comes up with a clinically FDA approved vaccine for immediate large scale production, then all other companies in this race would down tool? including SNG?

I have speculated about £500 million in the first instance. It could be much higher depending on what deals they do to sell the drug because they can't do it themselves. Plus there are the ongoing opportunities for treating all serious viral respiratory diseases such as flu which will become apparent although more trials might be required. Neverthess I would expect wide off label use in other diseases because of the nature of those diseases.

Of course just IMHO and DYOR. I have always made clear the risk of a negative result. This is a binary event...

Every time I have been involved in an investment which is doing a blinded trial, I hear this speculation about people knowing ahead of time what the result is by whatever means. But including when I worked in the industry, I have never known of a leak where people knew/guessed what the result was. The bottom line is that it just doesn't happen because strangely the system is set up to prevent this happening!

Nobby

They still have to clean around them.

You think they're going to completely ignore them ? They can still talk and be heard wearing a mask.

They're human and they have compassion and curiousity as well as fear.

Also, the one's selected for trial are not yet 'seriously' ill, as I understand.

To assume there will be no communication is unrealistic in my view.

And to think the cleaners would just be chatting with seriously ill Covid patients is a little fanciful to say the least....

I believe that I read the placebo is the plain nebuliser fluid Nobby, so if the addition of the protein if odourless, should make both similar and difficult to differentiate I presume ??

You don't know that for certain, Torres.

You're not using it.

too short a trial to get any clues of efficacy/benefit

you just gotta wait 2 months, well maybe 7 weeks and 6 days!

Isn’t loss of smell and taste now a recognised symptom of CV?

I take Nobby's point onboard that they are unlikely to be able to tell via look, taste or smell. Just have to wait and see if it works in improving recovery.

Hazl,

Understood, I will take on board your kind guidance. In my defence as I don’t use Twitter I wouldn’t be looking for him. The chap in the video, is a friend of my sons boss, which is how I came to see it.

Good day to buy into SNG :)

DYOR
