So, when the 35p shares are released into the market, along with the current 120m shares, isn’t the net value of the shares going to drop by 11%?

He must of taken part got some at 35p sold a load at 60p plus easy money thank you very much and still hold a load at 35p not bad eh? Explains the trading activity can see 70p by Friday close.

Last but not least, the FDA has granted “emergency expanded access” to Bellerophon Therapeutics’ inhaled nitric oxide delivery system to ventilate coronavirus patients. The NOpulse system has completed a safety trial in healthy volunteers and a new clinical trial is underway in China in COVID-19 patients and as a preventive measure for healthcare providers. UK biotech Synairgen (AIM: SNG) was given the green light by MHRA for a Phase II trial in COVID-19 patients with its inhaled interferon, SNG001; previous studies have shown that it can reduce lung viral load and lung pathology in an in vivo swine flu driven model of viral pneumonia.

Agree.

Richard Griffiths has been hit hard on a number of his other holdings, so taking a profit on a better performing one, such as SNG, doesn't surprise me.

Examples:

PFC, dropped roughly 50%.
JOG, dropped roughly 60%.

Etc


Now he's gone from SNG, it's more free to move up on any buying. :o)

He may be selling to replace with placing stock but I suspect he is under pressure elsewhere and so needs to raise cash. Anyone in such a position would sell their most liquid positions first and SNG has certainly been liquid. Whatever the reasons...we will never know for sure.

Re the Griffiths sale now he is below 3% he will not need to disclose further sales but is he not simply trading his position selling now to reload with the cheap stock at 35p later this week?

I think the fact that the SNG001 trial is using "The Ordinal Scale for Clinical Improvement is a World Health Organisation (W.H.0.) recommended scale for use in COVID-19 trials" is probably a hint that they are included, as well as being "identified in the WHO's Landscape analysis of therapeutics as at 17 February 2020 as the only Phase 2/Phase 3/Observational therapy delivered by the inhaled route".
