02/4/2020 14:34 | if all the patients have a positive result wouldn't that mean the placebo works as well?! | acga
02/4/2020 14:32 | no one knows whether the 10 get a placebo or the real deal , or 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,89,or 10 of them get the real deal. | d1nga
02/4/2020 14:27 | D1NGA + dave444 If 10 are in this trial (4 as of yesterday) and it is given blind in a 50/50 format as normally happens and more than 50% have good results then you have a damned good idea it works. If this is as successful as it appears to be by delivering the drug directly to the lungs and has also proved to substantially boost the anti viral activity in the lungs of healthy patients as well as the ill then i think we will have positive comments even before the blinded results are released officially. What if ALL the patients have a positive result. Will that still be blind ? As recently happened in the USA an UNPROVEN drug treatment was given EMERGENCY FDA APPROVAL even though the results were shown in a very tiny trial such is the desperation of the World. Any positive news and i guarantee you this will proceed immediately to the W'H'O' Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) outbreak – Emergency Use Listing Procedure (EUL) hxxps://www.who.int/ | lithological heterogeneities
02/4/2020 14:24 | How can their be a leak in a blinded study? | dave444
02/4/2020 14:17 | NEWS WITHIN 14 DAYS Its a 14 day dosing trial. No way will we have to wait more than 14 days. Its just too important. •Synairgen is in "in discussion with, a number of other medical, scientific, and Governmental bodies (both in the UK, US and internationally) " •Synairgen SNG001 "was identified in the WHO's Landscape analysis of therapeutics as at 17 February 2020 as the only Phase 2/Phase 3/Observational therapy delivered by the inhaled route •Synairgen has been authorised by the UK's "Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) and Health Research Authority (HRA) to conduct a trial of SNG001 (inhaled formulation of interferon-beta-1a) in COVID-19 patients to potentially assist with the global outbreak of the virus" "At the time of the MERS-CoV outbreak in 2013, Synairgen collaborated with the National Institutes of •Health (NIH) in the US to show that SNG001 could protect against MERS-CoV infection of lung cells in vitro." •Already studied in previous COPD trials and found to be SAFE in humans. News will leak during this period anyway via patients, families,nu We already have the tTitter links to the Professor in charge of the trial and a nurse involved in the trial as shown below. 02/4/2020 14:16 | BMNSA Embroidering your way through the whole suite of options, don't forget the PSA test and the camera down through the helmet. The opportunity for pain, humiliation and discomfort is there in abundance. It's a cruel world out there. ;o) | jev1
02/4/2020 14:11 | Late reported sells will pop up in an hour to make up for that.I've just put another £7.5k in, as it felt right to sell another position to add more here. | festario
02/4/2020 14:08 | very odd. unable to sell anything for 30 mins. price goes up. now can sell... | jambam
02/4/2020 14:02 | I can sell 50k in one hit, not the sort of thing you would expect if there was someone still selling. Bit of volume on the ask and we should be moving back to 60p in short order if this is correct. | talk2dubya
02/4/2020 13:59 | I joined everyone a short time ago with a well-timed buy just shy of 40p and was happy to see the share price do well afterwards. It reached around 70p intra-day at its highest I think and then started to retreat. I have now taken this slight pull-back to add a few more. I hope my timing is good again and we receive some decent news in the not too distant future. However, I really hope that the patients who need the treatment benefit from it and SNG do well as a company. That would be great for everyone! | lauders
02/4/2020 13:54 | Yes I feel it in my water......but it could just be my enlarged prostate! | nobbygnome
02/4/2020 13:34 | Anyone else feeling like we are going to get an afternoon rally north? | talk2dubya
02/4/2020 13:23 | Luddite ! Well, you did put the request in, albeit admittedly, I'm not Hazl. :o) | jev1
02/4/2020 13:21 | Hazl, call me a Luddite but Twitter is a vipers pit of fake news; I don’t use or believe in it | makendon
02/4/2020 13:21 | keep noticing these people | hazl
02/4/2020 13:15 | I think for those that crave regular news flow...not only do we not know when any other announcement could come but there are regular updates on twitter from those involved. | hazl
02/4/2020 13:08 | ADVFN bb are generally the worst. | dealer55
02/4/2020 13:01 | There are some pretty thick people on the LSE board. | talk2dubya
02/4/2020 12:52 | I've got a potentially daft question of my own... ADVFN trade data, shows a great deal of trades well above the ask at any given time. I know delayed trades abound, but I don't recall any stock having such a high proportion. Could some of the larger trades be 'going through' commonly/routinely, at a premium? Just ticked down again. ...and again and again :o ( | 801710245 |
