As a result of the expedited approvals to conduct a placebo-controlled Phase II clinical trial in COVID-19, the Company expects the pilot phase to have commenced in the week commencing 23 March 2020.The pilot phase comprises of 100 COVID-19 patients, 50 on SNG001, 50 on placebo and will take place in approximately 10 UK sites, which will enable recruitment of mild to moderate hospitalised patients. There will be a further decision made whether to progress to pivotal phase once the pilot phase is complete.

No that was only when they received MHRA approval. If you read the RNS, it states, "the trial will start imminently', which of course must wait for approval first. I suspect they'll release news of first few patients recruited on Monday...

I thought the trial started on March 18th, the fundraise was partly to produce Sng 001 product and for the supply chain. I wonder why

Not sure what you want me to say. The article is strangely prophetic....and worrying. Actually we got lucky this time because Covid 19 doesn't kill that many people. It could have been an awful lot worse and the worry is that the next one will be.....

Possibly people selling before the firm shares land on Monday. Trouble is if news leaks over the weekend you're frozen out
