Yes encouraging move this morning. Don't want to speak too soon as we regularly see an intra day reversal. However, as I have stated often I expect to see the price build as we get closer to the trial result.

SNG get a mention here too:

Synairgen

Synairgen is a London-listed company that specialises in respiratory illnesses. The company launched plans to start a clinical trial of a potential treatment on 18 March, with the first patient being dosed on 31 March.

It said it has ‘received a number of requests’ for its candidate, SNG001, which is inhaled, to treat individuals outside the trial, but says it can’t fulfil them for regulatory reasons.

‘We are delighted to get this trial underway with the dosing of the first patient. The team has worked tirelessly and intensively with the relevant authorities and collaborators to get to this stage, and we now look forward to recruiting more patients and completing the trial as soon as possible. A successful outcome from this trial in COVID-19 patients would be a very important step towards a major breakthrough in the fight against this coronavirus pandemic,’ said CEO Richard Marsden.

does anybody expect a certain proportion of profit takers on NCYT to reinvest/buy here?

timbo, to me what you say PLUS the mode of delivery by inhalation makes SNG001 a true winner

One thing I noticed recently, which is probably worth a mention: Refib (Merck's interferon beta formula for treating MS) has a shelf life of just 18 months.

Normally a short shelf life like this would be considered a commercial disadvantage (and definitely not a selling point), but assuming that all liquid formulations of interferon beta will have a similarly short shelf life, this would be a significant commercial advantage to a supplier of a liquid formulation for nebulisation to treat COVID and other virally induced respiratory infections, as national governments may see a need to have a permanent stock pile (which needs replenishing every 12 months) to ensure there are sufficient supplies in the event of another pandemic
