FWIW - I never doubted you Nobby! It is indeed amazing what some people think. No pleasing them and I think anyone who can read character from a distance would have a good idea you were being upfront. Thought it was rather amazing you actually sent the original to the doubter as well. Good on you. Many wouldn't have done I am sure. Good news over at NCYT today so hope some good news comes from the SNG trials ASAP.

I asked a second question of Richard Marsden about the stats and endpoints and he came back to me again. He told me one of the reasons for the pilot study is to determine the best endpoint so they can look at the data however they want. So that is really really good because it gives flexibility and increases the chance of seeing a difference. I paste below some of the possibilities he suggests.

'In this part we could analyse the score on a certain day, or an average over different time periods eg the first 7 days. Or we could look at the number who get worse by one or two on the scale.'

So I am sure the sceptics will presume I am making this up again, which truly amazed me....

Still a bit confused by this, first article dated 19th March talks SNG.

Second article dated 25th March is much broader and links back to the recovery trial if you dig deeper.

Richard Marsden, CEO of Synairgen, commented: "We are delighted to get this trial underway with the dosing of the first patient. The team has worked tirelessly and intensively with the relevant authorities and collaborators to get to this stage, and we now look forward to recruiting more patients and completing the trial as soon as possible. A successful outcome from this trial in COVID-19 patients would be a very important step towards a major breakthrough in the fight against this coronavirus pandemic."

Lunus, answering your final question, I will quote Gandhi's famous words in reply to the journalist who asked him what he thought of the western civilisation.

"I think it would be a good idea".

All the best to all of us tomorrow.

Patient I really don’t care what your thoughts are on Boris, it’s enough just knowing you read the Guardian. End of the day the guy is ill and I wish him a speedy recovery. Any chance we can get back to discussing the company and their prospects? Just a thought.

lol nobby
anybody but Boris, seriously, he is just a big irresponsible immature kid not right to lead a crisis, as simple as that. No leadership. The Guardian article link speaks volumes.

I find Boris entertaining, amazing culture and charm, political leadership zero. Sense of responsibility ... at dangerous , seriously dangerous level.

Let him be a fabulous entertainer:

a whole passage from the Iliad in Greek for three minutes, however, no sense of measure, he becomes boring and embarrassing even when trying to be funny, but his ego is just huge.

Long life to the queen and to SNG.

Tpi, would prefer this BB to not turn into a political debate. I enjoy coming on here to read objective discussions about SNG and don’t want to have to scroll through irrelevant stuff.

No idea what the price will do this week but new tax year so I will be adding to my new ISA allowance if still sub 50!

marmite might be but not now, he is dangerous, he is the most obvious and ironic victim of his own casual and arrogant initial approach "wash your hands" in the first interview. An irrersponsible immature bloke. Better in bed than doing more damage to this great country

just wash your hands......yeah
