I think he is referring to Mercedes taking a 20pc stake in AM on basis AM don’t have the cash to take the company properly into electric

... G - Tricky are you saying look to the coming of the sun? Or have you bulletin board tourettes - where you just hack in and post wishful ST thinking? A text equivalent of an involuntary blurt? Fils

Interesting recent thread by Ferrari users, mentioning SCE on pages 2 and 3, with a particularly damning comment about Brembo's ceramic brakes by Il Co-Pilota on October 18th on page 2

Thank you I hadn't realised that you can transfer at purchase value so it works a treat. (Wife said no problem, but you can't have them back :))

Good weekend all

Toffeeman, I am fortunate enough to have a similar CGT problem to you. I intend to transfer some of these shares to my wife so that I can use her CGT allowance.

I should say that I am not a tax expert but this HMRC link suggests that this approach will work.

I have a CGT liability in the current tax year (an EIS investment coming good before the 3 year deadline - posh problem!).

I have another stock which would add to the CGT liability if I sell it in the current tax year (which was the plan) - can I transfer this stock to my wife without problem so she can use her CGT allowance instead?

Have to agree pinkfoot2. It's extremely encouraging to see the FD sheltering his shares in his SIPP - and with the share price at new highs too.

This could be about to lift off-FD selling stock to his SIPP and chairman exercising options without selling to mitigate income tax hit on future rise.

Good signals

Also a bit strange to see Fincap were on the bid and offer price simultaneously for much of the day, they are the market maker currently offering both the 51.5p sell and 53.5p buy price.

Nicely put G1TY. I though for a minute that you were saying that DB had made a comment about the testing program with OEM3

After significant testing, a rigorous inspection process, passing the Sea Salt test, I think SCE is now in investors “parts bin”.

Available for any model of portfolio without any more engineering.

I started buying yesterday after listening to the presentation, very informative and clear long term vision for growth. I want the price to fall so I can take a proper sized position at 45p!

Just listened to the Mello followup presentation and thought it was confident and professional, nothing new that I could see but a very good roundup of the opportunity and 30 or so minutes of Q&A afterwords.

This is what the market makers are showing now but there has generally only been one or two on the best bid and offer prices at any time so the price could change quickly.

Unfortunately I had to miss the 12.00 Mello presentation (again). It seems to have been well received :o))

Any reportage gratefully accepted....
