Pinkfoot2 were you part of the very select band that sat round the table at Ellesmere Port many many moons ago? 30th April 2014!!!! If you were we have met. Fils
Kevin has just appeared on the Mello Monday occupying a new "game changer" spot. He has a new "chasm" slide. Share price wise he says we are moving from the trough of disillusionment into the sunlit slopes of enlightenment!

I have been down to the facility-old and new, and took a guy in with a lot of experience in automotive. The team passed the interrogation with flying colours. No issues and the product speaks for itself. The latest deal provides verification of the product on a much wider scale than previous deals-a major plus when talking to other OEMs

I saw this as a long term private investment-not a short trade.EIS also very attractive

The company has grown up a lot but still has some way to go as it moves into volume production but I think the upside is significant.

Quazie, rather than questioning pinkfoots veracity, should we not applaud his commitment. There have been people like Richard Gledhill who have stuck with SCE for years, always backed fundraisings, maintained their already enormous positions while never losing faith.

More recently, Richard Sneller has made an enormous show of faith* in SCE and has bought a large holding. And when people doubted at 13p, he added again and again.

So, I applaud pinkfoots commitment !!

*I think RS’ investment is based on rather more than “faith” as I suspect he is a rather better analyst than I am, and I suspect has done a vast amount of due diligence

Based on what you say, you have had your holdings quite a while so its unlikely the company disclosures are out of date (Richard Sneller's disclosed holdings look quite accurate) or you hold over various different vehicles eg SIPP, ISA,Portfolio and or in family names. Still though, I find it strange you don't appear to come up in disclosures somehow.

Pinkfoot2In the company's own disclose re significant shareholders there is no mention of you and your 2m holding. Henderson Global have 3.75m then next largest on register is Kevin D'Silva a non exec with c1.3m shares.

I’m not short but I do think this company has all the attributes.I have a lot automotive experience and know a lot of guys in the space.Fact checking, the management team are very honest and open and the product speaks for itself.Im kicking myself for not buying more in the recent Placing as it was on offer until they realised there was lots of demand

Anyway, good luck and I will buy the drinks when we exit

Do not forget to join the investors at #MelloMonday as ST will be covered this month

The Mello Monday event starts at 6pm
The full programme is available on the website. In the MelloBASH... The analysts, fund manager and well known investors on the panel will give their honest verdicts on whether four/five companies are a Buy Avoid Sell or Hold at this current juncture in the markets.

All investors welcome and if you use the code MMV5 you will get a half price ticket. Great investor content and entertainment. We had 329 investors attend last month so these are very popular.

I know what I think but I won't use this board to publish a political rant. I know what I know and that is, as Rivaldo has pointed out below, ST managed to stay open and trade during the previous lockdown. I know what I think I know - the UK is going to need as many ST like Companies as it can lay its hands on in the near future. High quality manufacturing Companies - where trade barriers are a mere inconvenience because the product is desired - we are going to have to look to our exporters. Fils

The main point of my posting the tip was to show SCE getting wider attention - I don't think anyone could expect a full analysis of the potential in just a few lines like that.

All of us agree that SCE's potential is massive, certainly a lot more than the article suggests, and that things are progressing nicely now.

SCE managed to keep Knowsley open through the first wave of the pandemic with minimal impact, so any further restrictions will hopefully leave them similarly unaffected.

On a less happy Covid-related note for Knowsley, where ST is based, there is an article in the FT Weekend discussing the likely restrictions for the north. They said that Liverpool has the second highest infection rate in the country and specifically quoted Sean Donnelly, deputy leader of Knowsley Council, as saying:

“The virus has spread right across the community. We are seeing lots among the older population. I wish we could pinpoint how it is spreading. We don’t know. We need a total lockdown.”

Seems a bit panicky for a leader! However, Liverpool will be included in the local new restrictions to be announced by Boris so I guess the ST directors will be paying close attention. Hopefully, the factory can simply get on as normal.

Thanks for posting Riv.

Growing recognition of the very real potential in ST is deserved and I think a short term target to reach £20m revenues and a 10% market share is realistic.

The medium and long term potential is what motivates me most though.

The company has a current deal pipeline indicating sales potential of £50m by 2025 and that but a staging post on the way to a £2bn potential market in 10-15 years time.

ST have the best product for the market and are more attuned to the needs of OEM customers. There is every likelihood that they will at some point overtake BremboSGL in market share.

I think your maths are wrong mate-I’m the company’s biggest fan but £10m net on £20m of sales is wrong. What about company running costs?
pinkfoot2
11/10/2020

Even with just 20m annual sales that would generate 10m annual profits and a pe of 30 due to the opportunity ahead would give a share price of 2 quid
