17/4/2024 07:27 | It's never going to happen. That's a no in my book, and a word that lawyers never say. Normally it's a, let's see how it goes, you've got a good chance, but keep sending me your money anyway. LOL | kpe
17/4/2024 05:49 | I have never been a shareholder, but as a lawyer this privatisation is simply never going to happen. The approval of the Chancery division of the High Court is quite inconceivable, and it cannot even be listed in the time frame indicated/ Furthermore, Superdry’s Memoranda of Association would have to be amended by the shareholders first, and audits audits would still be required. Do and sign nothing. Pure ‘Lex Maxwelliana’. The CEO, like Robert Maxwell, appears to think he owns the company, and his board are being wholly and expensively misadvised. | tomtrudgian
16/4/2024 16:25 | Dundurhead comparing SDRY with NIKE 😂😂 | seedoftongo
16/4/2024 13:57 | Cackhead , you made nothing back fella . You lost it all on this . You have no reputation left . You should have just taken the defeat and stayed away . Now you are just humiliating yourself lad | seedoftongo
16/4/2024 13:42 | ali47fish, Dump em. Take your losses and use against any profit. | debsdowner
16/4/2024 13:36 | i have no sipp- my sdy are in an isa | ali47fish
16/4/2024 13:12 | Typo56, As you correctly highlight there is a difficulty with ending up with unquoted stock in a SIPP. And when you come to move it from Suffolk Life you will encounter an idiot who knows next to nothing (about anything as it happens) to approve the valuation ascribed to the holding. For this you will be charged a fee. You will be thrilled. Live Ink | live ink
16/4/2024 13:07 | I'm not sure how easy it would be to hold unlisted shares in a SIPP. What happens if you want to transfer to a different SIPP provider? I had no end of trouble when I had an unlisted stock in SIPP and tried to move it from Suffolk Life. Also, how is your fund valued at drawdown, when you want to take your 25% cash free lump sum? | typo56
16/4/2024 12:39 | hag please tell or anbody else in this case are we be able to keep the shares in isa - i understand non listed shares cannot be traded on aim - is it different fo sdry as a small cap???? | ali47fish
16/4/2024 11:31 | hagg, as a private compay it will be almost impossible to sell your shares and as such they will be almost worthless...avoid. | debsdowner
16/4/2024 10:39 | Typo, Doesn't reall matter the company has had it's day and as bookbroker has said the money isn't enough its just a short term breather, but the company is on life support. | debsdowner
16/4/2024 10:17 | personal advice is to stay away from retail stocks... rent too high, too many staff and footfall falling due to online shopping.. | icac
16/4/2024 09:58 | I've only a modest interest in what's going on here. Please could someone wiser tell me:- Why would an open offer raise €8m (£6.84m) but a placing raise £10m? Currently there are about 99m shares in issue. An open offer would issue about 684m new shares. In other words, the current shares would represent just 12.6% of the total number of shares in issue. A placing would issue 200m new shares. The current shares would then represent 33% of the total number of shares in issue. Either way, there won't be much value attributed to the current shares. | typo56
16/4/2024 09:11 | There are a lot of brands and much much cheaper - | tomboyb
16/4/2024 09:05 | The only notable country Were SD is seen has a brand to be seen in Is Japan ! Still to this day Rest of world no idea I'm surprised Fraser group have not made a move More than likely they are hovering It would be Zero for current shareholders Doc Martin may be another target | amaretto1
16/4/2024 09:05 | Raising a few million simply nowhere near enough, it’s back to the beginning for this company, no one actually wants the gear. If they cannot cover their costs now, why will delisting and saving the fees make it any easier. And why should they have a rent holiday in their stores, property companies still have their own interest to service in their loans. | bookbroker
16/4/2024 09:01 | Too many brands out there, business isn't relevant to younger shoppers.. | debsdowner
16/4/2024 08:48 | JD screwed all shareholders here. I nearly got screwed by him, luckily shorted this at 10p and made my money back plus profits.. glad I'm walking away from this dump without getting burnt. | icac
