30/5/2024 08:47 | Would be amazing if Spectra bought part of DLAR ? | boonkoh
30/5/2024 08:45 | Mmm, sounded to me more like DLAR are financially up the creek without a paddle and are desperately looking to raise some cash. Probably some impatient shareholders who want out. | shanklin
30/5/2024 06:36 | De la Rue reports that there are interested parties looking to buy certain divisions... Could maybe help to set a benchmark price for parts of Spectra. | boonkoh
28/5/2024 08:45 | Now a positive effect 5.9% rise today | fegger

20/5/2024 09:12 | A quick scan through the other speakers gives some idea of the breadth and level that Spectra were getting their message out to. Exciting potential indeed. | gnome3
20/5/2024 08:55 | looks like it. Spectra Systems Banknote Conference 2024 – significant interest in SPSY polymer Last week’s global Banknote Conference 2024, taking place in Forth Worth, Texas, was a near-perfect sales opportunity for Spectra (SPSY) given (1) an exceptionally strong new product to offer in the banknote arena, (2) an expanded and highly experienced sales team post the recent Cartor acquisition and (3) patent appetite among the Central Bank client base for a new polymer substrate supplier in this market. Spectra, a leader in machinereadable high-speed banknote authentication and brand protection technologies, was a lead sponsor, major exhibitor and keynote speaker. Attending the four-day event, WH Ireland was able to observe the significantly enhanced presence and opportunity of Spectra and notably the significant interest shown in Fusion, Spectra’s ground-breaking polymer banknote substrate, which uniquely is able to carry the highest level of security features within the substrate, and which is also a first as an environmentally friendly polymer banknote. We forecast conservatively – just highly predictable / contractual revenues. However, we continue to see upside across a number of fronts, and polymer banknotes in particular look to be potentially very exciting. Our fair value assessment remains 380p. | robsy2
17/5/2024 12:52 | Maybe the bank note conference? | nico115
17/5/2024 11:46 | What’s fuelling this rise? Great fundamentals apart that is 🤔 | fozzie |
