20/5/2024 10:12 | A quick scan through the other speakers gives some idea of the breadth and level that Spectra were getting their message out to. Exciting potential indeed. | gnome3
20/5/2024 09:55 | looks like it. Spectra Systems Banknote Conference 2024 – significant interest in SPSY polymer Last week’s global Banknote Conference 2024, taking place in Forth Worth, Texas, was a near-perfect sales opportunity for Spectra (SPSY) given (1) an exceptionally strong new product to offer in the banknote arena, (2) an expanded and highly experienced sales team post the recent Cartor acquisition and (3) patent appetite among the Central Bank client base for a new polymer substrate supplier in this market. Spectra, a leader in machinereadable high-speed banknote authentication and brand protection technologies, was a lead sponsor, major exhibitor and keynote speaker. Attending the four-day event, WH Ireland was able to observe the significantly enhanced presence and opportunity of Spectra and notably the significant interest shown in Fusion, Spectra’s ground-breaking polymer banknote substrate, which uniquely is able to carry the highest level of security features within the substrate, and which is also a first as an environmentally friendly polymer banknote. We forecast conservatively – just highly predictable / contractual revenues. However, we continue to see upside across a number of fronts, and polymer banknotes in particular look to be potentially very exciting. Our fair value assessment remains 380p. | robsy2
17/5/2024 13:52 | Maybe the bank note conference? | nico115

15/5/2024 19:18 | I am hoping we may have a re-rating starting here as Investors realise that SPSY is on a p/e of x14 for 2025, just 6 months away, whilst we usually trade at x20 ish. | pj 1
14/5/2024 13:10 | I feel u Fozzie , now my biggest holding as well.8.7% for me which is over my max 6% per holding , but I'm loathed to part with any currently given it's a 1.4 bagger for me so far.DbD :-) | death by donut
14/5/2024 12:58 | Spectra makes up about 30% of my portfolio so it's been a rock for me these last few years. One of the first shares I ever bought and wish I had just continued to buy as the years passed by instead of chasing the latest bright thing. Wonderful all time high today. | fozzie
14/5/2024 12:29 | Interesting volume last couple of days and new ATH today. Wonder if something is brewing ? | harrogate
07/5/2024 14:48 | In times gone by a big write up from Jo Hart would have seen a decent move, But any publicity at all is good here as we are still very much unknown to the wider investment community imo. | fozzie
07/5/2024 14:24 | Decent move today. With this little bit of attention and AIM generally being on a bit of a surge, now would be a great time for SPSY to announce some good news - contract win etc. about time we had something | harrogate
07/5/2024 10:01 | Probably that the DM readership is down to couple of dozen people these days.DbD | death by donut
07/5/2024 08:37 | HSBC Investdirect who I once held with now do not allow them, apparently because they cannot write a computer programme that reduces with-holding Tax from 30% to 15% with a WB8 I wonder what the real reason is? | pj 1
07/5/2024 08:20 | It was a poor article. A few brokers won't allow SPSY purchases as US and there are 2 classes of shares | harrogate
07/5/2024 08:17 | I guess the illiquidity has surprised many Mail readers? | pj 1
05/5/2024 22:46 | Pots and kettles bully boy pj troll. | kumbuka
05/5/2024 22:07 | It seems my filtered troll is now also following me here. I apologise as this has usually been a targeted discussion on thread. | pj 1
05/5/2024 21:33 | Do you tell your wife that bully boy when she asks you how much of her money you have lost. | kumbuka
05/5/2024 21:23 | It pays to keep a sense of humour...!! Meanwhile, I would hope for an increase in volume on Tuesday at least..... | pj 1 |
