I have this on my watchlist and appreciate the great comments in here. The lack of news flow creates uncertainty and risk. It's a very interesting company in a niche market but let's get an update so that market can understand whats next.

News flow has been appalling and the number of RNS giving anything new are near non-existant, compounded by the fact Nabil said ''more news to come'' and it hasn't, months ago.

Either that or a profit warning is on the way. All IMO

I would say there has definitely been a seller of SPSY selling into any strength for a few weeks.The price action would confirm this, today's drop then slight rebound on big volume might just have seen the seller cleared.
Lets hope so.

Considering the way Nabil operates I'd like to think it's not down to something we don't know. I'd more likely suggest that America is pretty sensitive right now, and since spectra is US based the baby is most likely being thrown out with the bathwater?

This is brutal. Either a great buying opportunity or something we don't know. Seems more than general AIM weakness. 200 dma average smashed through and stop losses hit. Definitely now in bear territory as a stock. Painful to my portfolio as all my recent "bargain" purchases are quickly underwater

AIM is just about dead as far as I can see so going to get no help from the market. News on Fusion and confirmation that Cartor are trading better after a poor H1 would be good. The strong dollar should be positive at least in sterling EPS terms and also the dividend is worth 10% more than it would have been a few months ago

From Int Results 30th Sept:

"Our polymer substrate efforts have yielded important and tangible results with both state printers as well as corporate printers of banknotes. We have successfully passed all of the print and durability testing with our middle eastern central bank partner and potential customer. We currently expect to have three house notes produced by major polymer banknote printers in the 2024-2025 time frame using both our sustainable and our machine-readable polymer substrate. In addition, we have been asked to advise a second middle eastern central bank on the development of their future polymer notes."

Can't find exactly where Nabil indicated that the tender was due to be happening anytime now...but this is the next batch of news that a lot of us are waiting for.

NChanning, simply because the world of central banks moves very slowly. That, said Nabil did talk of an upcoming tender opportunity this winter with a Middle East central bank I believe.

Don't see how this changes anything for 2025. Certainly makes the 24 year end balance sheet look a lot better though so definitely positive if only for those optics. We need proper contract news here desperatelyRemember back what seems like an age ago after the sensor contract margin upgrade announcement. Nabil said in his proactive interview that there would be more good news to follow.

Could anyone help me understand something ? It must have been unbelievably hard for such a small company to win the biggest authentication contract in the world with the USA , they must have absolutely world beating technology . Why haven't more central banks chosen them for sensor manufacturing given they have the greatest reference customer out there ?
