If Tende was the one causing the problem I reckon ETU would have kicked them off long ago, and done the deal themselves which they have done very capably elsewhere.

'As I keep reminding you guys, it's not Tende who are pushing this transaction through at Angola, it's our partners ETU.''

They don't seem to have problems elsewhere?.....only with the Tende j/v.

In M & A it is a fact, there are some who can close a deal however difficult the deal and there are those who cannot close a deal even if it’s a straight forward deal. Unfortunately our board are in the latter category and that’s a fact

"The assets are producing nowhere near enough revenue..."
Correction doc: "The assets are producing ZERO revenue..."

A complete novice at the top, out of his depth. Surrounded by a bunch of loan shifters forever robbing Peter to pay Paul, incurring a crippling mix of huge fees and compound interest along the way. Staying afloat by shoving out ever more shares, and/or taking on extra loans. The assets are producing nowhere near enough revenue, hence debts spiralling out of control.

Need to clear that whopping $85m debt to start with, by selling the ATOG portfolio, completing Angola, commencing polymers trading, and surpassing the incremental threshold for Abura in order to generate cash flow.

Is it doable? Yes, but not with the present bunch of muppets running the show. Ridiculously overpaying themselves for failure after failure, 16 years now of sheer incompetence, delivering nothing of value.
Move on ffs.

It’s simples they do not have anyone at the top who has not only a clear plan but the decisive nature to see it through.
Instead of shilly shallying from one idea to the next

I understand why the bod issued themselves such a low expectation with regard to the share options....Take a look at how many shares Tower Resources had to issue to gain entry into Namibia and Cameroon. So what will be the price for Tende's Angola entry?

O/T

'Talk is cheap!'...I disagree, talking by some has been very expensive for us all......she should have kept her out shut..It'll now cost her , her job.

Living on borrowed money has its consequences....We're fast approaching for a recession and a belt tightening period...that goes for everyone...including this company. The question is...will they survive if the funders pull the plug or call some debt in due to external pressures beyond their control?...and Trafigura already posting a $1bn loss for last year.

It makes me wonder if the largest shareholder would allow this to slide under?

Sonic, pulling 5-10% of the companies shares into 1 group makes makes us big too and entitles us to some answers

Let's see what answers we get back from them. They most certainly owe us that at least, but it will be interesting to see if the answers tell us anything that we really want to know.
