05/10/2018 07:40 | It's not a sirius RNS but as you say Mr Oz, doesn't look like the competition are going to give Sirius an easy time. Just as well our costs are $30 / tonne really. | ppvn
04/10/2018 18:15 | Ah, must have been the "drop the share price 30%" award! Patience, patience | ppvn
04/10/2018 18:07 | Hi PPVN As the award is for achievement' it must be for past performance. | coolhandfluke
04/10/2018 17:19 | Just kind of wish they'd get on with it! The Sept announcement was all very well and good but watching this share now is rather tedious and just can't wait for things to get going on the finance side of things a bit more! Edit: I see an RNS has been released for some share incentives. Wonder if that is for a past milestone or future. | ppvn
04/10/2018 16:33 | On a more serious note, an article about ICL's increased activity with their own polyhalite. A few errors, but worth a read. hxxps://agritradenew | pvpower
04/10/2018 16:09 | Start wasn't up to much either. nor the bit in the middle come to think of it. I'm with Johnlessthanwise - bring back capital punishment in schools or send em to the colonies...... Come on john boy, get yer pom poms out and wave em around, that'll give the share price a lift! | pvpower

04/10/2018 07:37 | "The investment opportunity for the stock appears to be compelling. The mine it is now in the process of constructing is intended to have a 100+ year life and expects to eventually produce around 20m tonnes of polyhalite per year. This will be made available across a wide range of markets Sirius Minerals is forecasting operating costs which are among the lowest in the industry $30-$35 a ton, when production kicks off in 2021. At an average assumed price on the world market of $198/tonne for the new POLY4 product, that represents a gross annual turnover of about $3.6 billion at peak capacity of 20 million tons per year. It anticipates cash margins of between 70% and 85%, which should lead to a rapid pay-down of debt levels. This could leave the company with a rapidly-rising cash balance in future years that may end up with investors in the stock receiving high dividends for many years to come." Potassium Chloride (Muriate of Potash) Spot Price is at a current level of $215.50 ton Operating costs..."Sirius Minerals is forecasting operating costs which are among the lowest in the industry $30-$35 a ton" with all mined polyhalite transported underground to the materials handling facility on Teesside on the low impact mineral transport system (MTS), located in a 37km long and 4.3m wide tunnel underground to the materials handling facility on Teesside Mineral Transport System Materials Handling and Harbour Operating costs..Transported potash at K+S Potash Canada ? 03/10/2018 13:27 | Well he was tasked with increasing institutional shareholders. I suppose a £600m cost over-run is one way of doing it! :) NMRN | not my real name
03/10/2018 13:06 | Hi NMRN, It would appear logical, but I'm not convinced and don't think any pricing is even close to being discussed (or at least I hope it isn't). My primary reason for this belief is actually our CB holders - why would they accept anything at 28p when their optionality on bonds runs to 42p? That would in my view run very much against the whole premise of being acceptable to investors new and existing - or whatever the language was in the RNS. Still haven't seen proper short holdings trickling in from the last month's plummet so I'm still in the dark on their movements. We are approaching (well, final third or so) of equity to come from CBs- upon all of them being sold our share price should be up in the 40s frankly; so think something is probably going on because we aren't but I was thinking more along the lines of a possible second tranche of CBs to plug the gap in stg2. But this is wild speculation and only time will tell. Just a waiting game at the mo. Got my stall set out, but it's all on Staley now. | ppvn
