09/10/2018 09:46 | "Attempt to hold the shareprice up" "Not deemed bankable" You try and have a mature discussion but it really is pointless when the share price languishes. Support will still emerge very strongly (few hundred million shares strongly) below 25p or thereabouts. If you're looking to buy in cheaper then there really is little point in trying to sow seeds of speculation in the guise of "fact". share price will do what it'll do. | ppvn
09/10/2018 09:38 | Ppvn, so far this project is not deemed bankable by the lenders hence the delay in stage 2. The banks want a senior partner to enhance the company’s capability of executing the project. One can foresee serious problems at this stage with a new partner who will most probably have its own ideas about procurement, design etc. Banks tend not to lend to startup companies. Sxx has no proven track record of commercial and successful mining of Polyhalite. | jw30
09/10/2018 09:35 | Actually davethehorse, most days recently SXX has been marked up at the open then has slid gently throughout the day. This is despite attempts by someone to hold the share price up. Today is unusual as there is no sign of any significant buying support. Shorters have been taking advantage of the uncertainty of the stage 2 financing and also in my view the need for additional equity to support the $3 billion of new debt. Until SXX can counter with some unexpected positive news the shorters will retain the upper hand. | danny baker

09/10/2018 09:17 | I still think it's more to do with yields blowing out. With $3bn to borrow in various guises and a further $400-$600mm to be found in some other way it's no surprise that concerns still exist. I'm of the view that they will achieve the bank loans and IPA guarantee in the form that has been indicated to us, but it certainly is painful holding here at the moment. Edit: this was my point the other day re. "Getting on with it" on the finance side. Regardless of how the shortfall is made up it would be nice to see an announcement re. Bank LOI's and possibly the IPA guarantee. | ppvn
09/10/2018 09:05 | They have underestimated the cost of the mine shafts sinking just like they did with the mts. It will costs a lot more than the $1 billion allocated in the revised cost estimate. | jw30
