02/10/2018 07:41 | Carla. Remind me what's your purpose, please? | mr.oz
02/10/2018 07:25 | With an NPV of around $15.4 billion, I think that Sirius Minerals could offer value for money at the moment | johnwise
02/10/2018 07:11 | Oh pug.. the cartel do not like positivity | carla1
02/10/2018 06:13 | Good question & one of mine to. The redesign on the transport tunnel was the large proportion of the small percentage increase in extra funding. This will be self funding once complete as the carry capability will have increased & the build risk has been taken away. So all seems to be a good bit of business. The revenue required for this is very close to being nailed down. The "pub talk" was all very positive to be honest. Of course the build risk will always be there until complete & a few years to go before cashflow starts. But all in all very, very positive tone. | pugwash north
02/10/2018 02:52 | Pug wash where was the pub talk concerning spiralling costs??!! | dp1umb
01/10/2018 22:35 | Weekend pub talk For those from afar it must be difficult to imagine the intense activity at all three sites. This has increased ten fold in recent weeks. No sign or hint of slow up. Pub talk coming from off site is stage 2 is in the bag. This is not a firm quaking from financial worries. Just thought you might like an insight/view from close hand. | pugwash north
01/10/2018 22:22 | Beeez they have achieved and EXCEEDED ALREADY the required offtake requirements... for finance..Hope that helps | carla1
01/10/2018 21:35 | CF made a decision to go for a 2 stage financing he maybe regretting that. Now he has to sign off take agreements to ensure stage 2 financing, which leaves him in weak position. Obviously everybody is trying to get a good deal, all want a slice of this cash cow. CF job is to represent and protect shareholders in all deals. | beeezzz
01/10/2018 19:30 | Hi clotted cream, A very valid point and one that I've previously discussed with you. But what I find interesting is that SOP has a lower K2O content than MOP (I assume that's what your 14% fig refers to?). This led me to believe that the sulphur content in SOP was the "value add", along with the lack of chloride that obviously upsets certain crops and soils. Poly4 has around 50% of both potassium and sulphur content of SOP, as well as magnesium and calcium (which refined SOP does not contain). I don't know the relative value of the last two minerals however. What I also noted with interest is the nutrient release profile of poly4 which certainly seems more "user friendly" than other more highly soluble fertilizers. I am not an expert on this topic and am always interested in hearing thoughts on the product. The agronomy trials to my untrained eye certainly look impressive; I would be interested in your thoughts on those. | ppvn
01/10/2018 18:10 | GK Poly remains 14% potash unless it gets the starch and water added then it becomes 13%. The main fertiliser manufacturers refuse to be interested in diluting their compounds when they can use highly soluble 50 or 60% potash base products. The companies bizarre presentation in May that had slides on mis conceptions over the product and Sirius suggested formulations of mainstrem compounds just emphasised how little they actually understand the industry and how fertilisers work. They slides showed the resistance they have faced talking to the real market. I expect that European deals when released will not be with the big players but some small niche product users. | clotted cream

01/10/2018 17:22 | re 34657 - "Twice as many buying as selling" - 6230.001 vs 3208,947 - ye gods........... Every transaction has a buyer and a seller - these numbers are meaningless! I wish he'd stay on his own bloody board waving his cheerleader pompoms! | pvpower
01/10/2018 17:04 | Really? Unusual investment technique GK. Or have you succumbed to Johnstupid's incessant ramping? | mr.oz
01/10/2018 16:52 | Hmm...Well, there are quite few factors that have inspired me to add more sxx late today, but I think the most compelling is the complete disintegration in to fantasy land from some on here. Thanks!! L. | lenses
01/10/2018 16:50 | There must still be alot of shorting pressure going forward, maybe to accommodate a rights issue?? | davethehorse
01/10/2018 16:29 | Hey Diddle Diddle the Cat and the Fiddle Twice as many buying as selling and the price is marked down just marvellous Buy 6,230.001 Sell 3,208,947 | johnwise
01/10/2018 12:53 | Would be a boring (and probably useless) board if everyone had the same views. Still think I'm right to be invested here ;-) | ppvn
01/10/2018 12:30 | This "cartel" nonsense is, as you describe it PPVN, nonsense! Nonsense written, imho, simply to irritate anyone with a negative opinion, by contributors with little of any use to say. I do find it irritating, assuming it is partly aimed at me, but not quite irritating enough so far to make me explain in detail my view of the problems Sirius face in terms of stage 2 financing. As those thoughts might well include a few things the banks specialists haven't thought about, I don't want to post them. Regards and good luck to all holders. | muckshifter
01/10/2018 12:11 | Don't know what this "cartel" nonsense is about, but do think a few people might be waiting for a price that'll hopefully never come! I try to never say never, but sirius are agonisingly close to getting to be in control of their own destiny (I.e. fully funded to production) - and barring any screw ups with the build could be a tramline up as time ticks by! | ppvn
01/10/2018 11:49 | Hilarious stuff from the cartel. Not complaining though, they are helping to keep the price low for my top ups.cheers | chrisatbirdies
01/10/2018 11:48 | Don't think it will be BHP, they seem to be interested and investing in Equador. (Copper and gold). | trev1223
01/10/2018 11:40 | I share your view, Danny Baker, that Sirius need a major placing, but for very different reasons. My expectation is that they need a billion, and that a placing is highly likely within the next six weeks. Hopefully, for the sake of shareholders that will be with an industry partner - someone like BHP, at a minimal discount. Pity they couldn't raise the money in the US where I think they would have found it easier. | muckshifter
01/10/2018 11:14 | SP not so. Bloody autocorrect! | spirito
01/10/2018 11:13 | Equity but less dilution as so will be much higher with rest of stg2 finances through senior debt. IMHO | spirito |
