That’s a massive increase in profits!

Maybe we’ll hit that £2 previous bid.

Wouldn't surprise me to see a bid here. Share price has been remarkably strong recently. Is it just FTSE250 trackers buying? The latest trading statement was very short and sweet, remarkably low on detail compared to previous trading updates. I wondered whether that might be cat and mouse with a potential bidder. Wait and see, I guess.

The share price seems to be heading back to close to the Lone Star offer amount. Perhaps it will reach it this year, thus sparing us the irritation of having witnessed the Yale guys in chinos sell the business in three years' time for 50% more than they had paid for it.

SNR should have taken up the Lone Star offer,, Doubt we'll see £2.00 any time soon. Always hope the mgmt will prove me wrong, but they haven't failed yet.

I think it can and still be good value at that.
Lots of hidden value in this company.

I think tracker funds will need to buy SNR if they want to replicate FTSE250

Missed the RNS stating that SNR will now move from small cap to FTSE 250! Maybe more tracker funds will buy?

Tiger, DOCS can move very swiftly in either direction as you will see from
a look at a share price chart. If wider markets rallied strongly it would likely catch
some of that rise. That being said, there is scope for disappointment on trading
updates to come as consumers are hit hard in 2023.

I agree with you but Ian King is no mug and an accountant. He will not waste his cash buying shares unless he sees great value.

DOCS continues sliding now at 174........so £1 down very quickly.

I think its still too expensive.

Tiger, if a bidder does come back then probably needs to be 2023.
I have SNR as a speculative punt for 2023. However expect some wider
equity market weakness to come.

DOCS will keep on a recovery watch list, but would want to see the
next update first.

We are stuck in the 120/130
Band and I feel it’s cheap ( on prospects )

Just need some good news to get it going

2024 is likely to be a significantly stronger year for the sector, I would hope,
so if a bidder were to come back then 2023 may be the last opportunity before
the upswing (this is barring something left field).

Tbf that alone is not a good enough reason to buy SNR.
