Lone Star still 'considering its position'. I assume that they are in discussions with the board, trying to agree on a price.

A bid may come to nothing and the price falls back further, only speculators need to worry about that. This is a 2-3 year sector recovery play.

It's crazy seeing people sell at this price when Friday they turned down an offer for a lot lot higher. Yet they all pile into a spike at UKOG. Hey ho more fool them. This will turn soon.

Added a few. Will Melrose be tempted is what I would be asking?. Unfortunately amateurs will have piled in with margined longs late on Friday, some of those taken a bath today.

On the basis it's accepted the aeronautical industry will return to something like normal after, say, 2-3 years, my feeling is that any offer to purchase this company should not be accepted unless it's at or close to £3.00. Senior has built up expertise, (presumably) intellectual property, goodwill, clients and distribution networks over the years. The value of that is enormous. So why give it all up on the cheap? I'm quite content to wait out the 2-3 years.

Opportunist bid. Much too low. Much more to come as the airline industry and society recovers from covid. Was 184p in 2011, bargain then at that price.

Whoa, 176, probably up that another 5-10% hopefully. Seen as it's the third proposal it does seem they are keen. I'm gonna hold but have been in a few situations like this and they do sometimes walk away. But with all the takeovers of late ahead of recovery in economies globally bodes well if it does not go ahead. Elementis is a case in point, several bids from different parties rebuffed as undervalues company.

Think you need to expect continued volatility given COVID, particularly with the Indian variant atm. If vaccines remain effective in preventing the vast majority of COVID cases then the 2/3 year outlook improves dramatically.
