That is quite a significant increase in their holdings by Alantra EQMC Asset Management SGIIC, S.A. Explains the recent share price pull back - hopefully leading to further gains to match their confidence in the company.

Up since all the renewed M&A activity. Can’t be long before the big boys make another bid along the same lines as the one for RWI

I believe that Airbus, despite repeated assurances to their customers, and to their supply chain, have failed to accelerate their production of aircraft. The likes of the Tier 1 supplier mentioned are now realising that they've been sold a pup and have overstocked, and having lost confidence in Airbus are now slamming on the brakes until they are very sure that Airbus can do what it says it can.

Much of the supply chain still hasn't properly recovered from Covid, but some parts have more than others, hence the imbalance of supply mention. This is not a short term issue and any forecasts about returning to normal next year should be treated with caution. imho

"..Meanwhile, other parts of the Airbus supply chain we have contracts with have generally produced in line with originally scheduled rates. Consequently, there appears to be an imbalance of supply into different parts of the aircraft, and we have recently been informed by one of our customers, an Airbus Tier 1 supplier, that they intend to significantly reduce scheduled deliveries from Senior in Q4 of this year before returning to normal during Q2 next year..."

What's the reason for the reduction of supply from SNR to the Tier 1 Airbus supplier..not clear from this statement.

I was just pointing it out that's all. Strikes don't last forever. FWIW I would have been happy with that £2 bid. I bought in at 120p. The board imo should have accepted the £2 offer but they greedily were looking after themselves

It's worth noting Ian King bought 100,000 shares on the 9th of August paying 158p a share

Well I mentioned the turning down of the £2 offer as a hideous decision, but at the time some here thought the share price would easily exceed this level in time.

It may be a very ling time indeed.

What's a tad concerning is the significant reduction in work from the Airbus Tier 1 supplier, had that been fully explained..?.

I sold out around the 169 mark but now back in again for another trade. Might hang around here for a bit though but confident in a return to the 160s again before to long.

Let's hope so EI - it's looking strong currently with the steady rise since the false drop all stocks incurred.
