New investors need to click on the excellent links above to the SAV website and the company presentations.

Consider the likely total lithium resource then contemplate the fact this only covers part of the prospective licence areas and many pegmatites remain open in several directions. Consider the intense ongoing drill programme through 2018... Then look at the peer group comparisons an perhaps focus on Altura as the most likely direction of travel for SAV.

Then consider we also have a likely major copper asset in its own right in Oman with mining imminent into a copper supply deficit market with rising prices...

With T-charge coming into effect next April for Central London and expanded in 2021, together with the new high rates of car tax on new registration petrol and diesel cars, some folk will start to think about changing to electric cars.

What's needed? Lithium and Copper

What do SAV have? Lithium and Copper

Repeat alert:

Portugal is going to be HUGE!

Said this yesterday ( I think) but there’s hardly anyone on this board and the herd have yet to arrive. Watch it go once a wider audience gets the story here.
The lithium asset is in Portugal with a mining licence in place. Infrastructure is there and it can be fast tracked.Oman has been hard work but is now all but mine construction ready.
Timing for its assets; couldn’t be better
And... whilst the lithium and copper get developed, we have a monster THM asset in Moz with a global scale JV partner...
Wake up Mr Market and smell the coffee...

Put another way, with a confirmed ML on Oman and a good LCE NPV on Portugal, the share price should be 35p to catch up with events...

I remember selling 50000 ASOS having doubled my stake when it reached double figures. Any regrets? Oh yeah!

Also selling some BOO having doubled my stake when it reached 52p and the rest after tripling my stake. Mistake? Oh yeah!

Today my original investment has tripled in value and subsequent investments doubled in SAV.

Will I be selling? Not until my original investment has at least 20 bagged.

This is an investment in management and in assets.

Good luck to all who make profits now but I know how you'll feel in 3-5 years if not sooner

Edgein , I hope they contemplate the LCE route as the figures look much better albeit with higher Capex.
But ,if you take a mid case LCE NPV of around £700 million and discount 80% for finance risk (£140 million), add in £100 million for Oman with a ML and straight forward low cost mine start up and say a measly £10 million for Moz being early stage, that’s £250 million market cap now. V c £84 million now, so 3x just to get to current fair value....

HG,

I reckon scoping study for Portugal is going to be somewhere north of $100m (concentrate plant) and $800m-1.2bn if they show the LCE route. Similar in size to PREM's zulu without the hastle and better widths here. ML for Oman could come at any time and the fact that they think they can be in production within months suggests quite a simple development path.

Ed.

BW, I think 13p will be history very shortly. Oman with the ML is worth £100 million now. Add Portugal PEA at likely £300 million NPV and Moz and I think a sum of parts valuation of £150 million now will be about right.

Edjein; yes Moz could be the £billion bonus 2020-23.
Fair value in the coming weeks has to be way North of £100 million.

Holding on to mine until they pay me more pa in divis than I have invested here. Oman and Portugal will do the trick. Moz will just be the world class icing on a very large cake.

Looks like the market is finally cottoning on to what’s happening here.
Likely Europes first Lithium producer within 2 years into an exploding EV market and a copper producer as the cycle hits the upswing...

Thanks GED, most of my cash is in ARS and will be for the next few years as Tony and Peter create a £ billion company and hopefully allow me to retire (lol).
I’ve had some in Sav for about 18 months but had some spare cash and whilst the price had increased 50% I’ve always felt it has some of the best potential of any AIM resource stock but with copper and lithium being the metals to be in for the next 5 years , it,s compelling. Also with DA having serious skin in the game his and our interests are aligned.
On Oman, look at the copper grades at c 2% v world industry average around 0.4% and the exploration upside beyond what will be an initial low cost starter operation. I see Oman being a 10-15 year mine chucking out 25ktpa from early 2020-21. That, in itself will generate c £35million free cash. A PE of 10 on that asset alone gives £350 million market cap.
Get the ML and provide a clear plan for funding the start up mine and this will absolutely fly as copper is going into supply deficit and we’re likely to see $4/lb in short order.
Being Europe’s first lithium producer by 2020 is possible and I suspect the Chinese will come knocking for an off take agreement , this will increase SAV’s share price by multiples in its own right.
It may sound fancifully, but SAV has the potential to be a £ billion mid cap within 18 months if all goes well...

Welcome shalimar. Your post is perhaps an understatement. 25 posts in 17 years. We are privileged! The Midas column seems to be widely read.

Congratulations HG on your further purchase. You do realise that you've made us all insanely jealous! :))

Lots of long term retail holders here with no intention of selling until the IIs arrive and this is at a much higher price.

Means limited stock around, ergo the bid has to be raised to find sellers.
