Ed,

Who's going to admit to reading the Sunday Express? I was about 12 when I last read that!

We don't often get early summer weather like this, so been out cycling again not reading some rubbish in a rag mag.

Let's see what the SS and strategic partnership bring.

Spot on BW.

The 100 mm number has clearly spooked some people but only takes a big offtaker and that is not an issue. The fact we are a 50mm plus company also helps, not unrealistic at all.

An opportunity to pick up some more shares at a price that I personally think will be unattainable again!

I wonder what that was all about? Anyone seen the article in question? Seems as if they were hinting at a main market listing, which seems a bit premature before we're in production on at least portugal as well as Oman. Also not sure what the talk about funding for mine development is all about at this stage as we've not even seen scoping study let alone DFS etc for Portugal. DA seems to think it was worth clarification though.

Regards,
Ed.

Thank you ipwil!

I was cycling through the fields of Cheshire on Friday and as the sun was shining and the birds twittering above the other sounds of the countryside my mind drifted. Then suddenly the thought came to me - earlier interview.

Little did I know that someone would help me out. But that's what these BB are for.

I retract my apology in post 789. Proactive interview 25th April DA states:-

Results out during the 2nd quarter hopefully by the end of May.

It doesn't matter now cos we're in June but the interview is worth listening to again.

The grades seem to be shifting up a bit...
...appears to be getting better.
6 further holes at depth
SS precursor to FS
Seeking tenders for FS at the moment.
500Kilo in Perth for metallurgical tests.
PreFS for Mutamba results in 1st quarter 2019

Lots to look forward to! :-))

Ged,
Looks like link cut out by advfn. 5th Apr 2018 (pro active investors video)

However it is repeated on the interview on 25th Apr at 4 Mins he says on target for Q2, but hopefully at end of May.

Wonder did the 52% resource upgrade on 2nd May change the scoping study a bit and he then did not mention May on that interview, needing a little more working time on ST. Obviously a change for the better!

Ged,

[...]

Need to go back a little further, 3:45 to 3:55 apparently a 2nd diamond rig in coming weeks (we know how long their first one took to materialise) and then 4:15 he gets asked about scoping study delivery and he says sometime in May, very exciting news in May apparently....well we got 2nd May 52% upgrade, but not much Portugal excitment in May other than that....haha. (not withstanding false horizon on Oman).

He has got his North, South, East and West mixed up a few times maybe May was meant to be June when he said it. Big presentations at end of Jun so he would want the scoping study out latest mid Jun to tie the info into the presentations.

Such a solid bank of shareholders here, nice and solid. A lot of PIs have been in this a good few years and not selling until the real profits start.

From today's announcement by Alara:-

"Formal presentation of the mining licence is expected later in June. Legal formalities in respect to the licence are complete and the Company is working to finalise Project-related contracts, including EPC, PPP for water treatment plant and pipeline plus mining and auxiliary contracts."

Looks like we have to wait a little longer if we are lagging behind Alara.

When I first started posting on a SAV thread it was you two and seagullslimjim who were the main posters. All 3 of you were most helpful, so thank you. Pity only one of you posts regularly here. Hope you enjoyed your break IB and you're in good health.

I've just listened to the 2 interviews from 2nd May. Not sure any more where DA stated he was hopeful the SS would be completed by the end of May

In the Direcctors talk interview he states "in a month or so" and
in the Proactive Interview he states "in the 2nd quarter".

Sorry for my mistake earlier.

BW, hi. It's been a long time getting to this point. Have to say that I only got into this at the end of AME's life as it was being taken over by DA and re-focussed towards where it is now. I always used to think that the sheer weight of good and solid news would ultimately get this share noticed. I haven't changed my mind on that. We should all be happy bunnies.

IB, hope you are ok. We must be two of the longest standing holders on here. I've been in this since the early days of AME, when Mark Jones and co thought they were going to find gold in Mali.

Has come a long way since!

Possibly, probably. Been a long disorientating month. Need a break to work out where things are and where I am. Fortunately spending a few days away sailing so it will give me a chance to re-boot. Then again the next couple of days may slap some oil on the fire - hopefully.

So would I BW.

IB, are you not mixing the mining licence with phase 1 of the pre-feasibility?

23-8-17
Stage one of the Mutamba PFS is now underway, which will include a gap analysis, options review, project planning and budget finalisation for stage two of the PFS

Mineral sands expert TZMI has been appointed to complete this phase of the work

It is anticipated that this work will be finalised in coming months.

23-4-18
The scoping phase of the Pre-Feasibility Study ('PFS') is now well advanced and the initial key studies for the PFS have been sequenced, with roll out underway, including further roasting test work and a 10t bulk sample to be collected from the Matilda licence.

I think we should have an announcement soon.

Ged, hi. Not expecting Moz PFS until Sep/Oct. we had understood that the Moz ministry would take 6 months and we were told that the very extensive application went in at the start of the year. June was therefore a natural point, however, in April we were advised that it would be 6 months from when the Ministry of All Things Underground actually went back to work, which I think we found out in April.Plenty of news due on other fronts to keep us occupied meanwhile.
