02/5/2018 07:45 | HG, True, 3 great projects and two moving swiftly towards production. The mammoth project with Rio T may take a little longer but is likely to top them all. Regards, Ed. | edgein
02/5/2018 07:43 | Wow, superb news fellas. Significant increase in JORC with much more to come as they continue along strike and at depth. The acceleration towards development that DA refers to seems to be working a treat. We're well on our way to our 21Mt target from these results, scoping study will get more interesting by the month, no doubt they'll have to upgrade that later in the year too by the sounds of it. :) Regards, Ed. | edgein
02/5/2018 07:39 | If they can sort out Oman, SAV will be one of the best near term in demand resource producers on the market and should re rate accordingly. | highly geared
02/5/2018 07:19 | Dear Interested Investor,Savannah Resources Plc today announced Western Europe's largest new spodumene discovery with an increase in the Mineral Resource Estimate to 14Mt for the Mina do Barroso Lithium Project in northern Portugal. With regards,On behalf of Savannah Resources Plc. Boom sounds good to me | ukgeorge
02/5/2018 07:16 | The NPV on production on Lithium carbonate will likely be in the region of $500 million based on the new Jorc. Shaping up to becoming a globally significant Lithium resource. I like the narrative around early mine development decision as this will differentiate it from others that prove up a resource then go nowhere... | highly geared
02/5/2018 07:14 | Best thing is they have moved a lot of it into the 2p category instead of the 3p - indicated rather than inferred/estimated. A result of all of that drilling. V good news. | broncowarrior
02/5/2018 07:10 | Looks good - that was more of an upgrade than I was expecting. | hiddendepths
01/5/2018 11:20 | Thanks yorkie. Further views on the good prospects for lithium and copper. All we need now is a mining licence in Oman and an amended licence in Portugal. There's no hurry for the latter but at some stage it will become important. No use having a licence for 7Mt if we're going to have a 20Mt+ resource. | ged5

27/4/2018 14:17 | Nice little recovery for the weekend. If this could ever get over 7p again, could see some real momentum. | broncowarrior

27/4/2018 08:25 | The recent interview on the KOD thread is quite relevant here too. The CEO is saying how unique they are as they're taking on multiple objectives at the same time for fast tracking production. Something that most miners do sequentially. Drilling multiple targets continuously, bulk sample with metallurgy and then JORC all at the one time. Ring any bells fellas. Its pretty much what DA is doing right here. DA is potentially going to have the JORC upgrade and scoping study done within 12 months of commencement of drilling with bulk sample done. You get the feel from these chaps too that this multi angle approach and relentless drilling is to get in on the lith action that's fast approaching. These two currently look most likely to be cashing in on the EV boom. Should be low cost for both, low impurity with just crushing, grav and flotation. Should be a modest cost development with the ML already in place to get going quickly. SAV in particular it seems if they can produce feldspar as a by product of the lith concentration. Scoping study this Q should make for some interesting reading. Regards, Ed. | edgein
26/4/2018 10:40 | Interesting piece about changes in Mining Laws in Portugal. I'm a little confused as to how this will affect SAV. Some of the wording suggests positive. This was from last October so there may have since been updates. "As such, and in order to create a conducive environments to attract private investment in this sector, new base legislation has been approved with significant amendments to the previous legal framework, with the aim of obtaining an increasing level of initiative from investors. Law No. 54/2015 of 22 June has been approved, revoking Decree-Law No. 90/90 of 16 March, along with all administrative regulations that were in under the revoked Decree-Law. However, the new base legislation provides that all regulations approved through Decree-Law No. 90/90 will remain in force until new complementary legislation is approved, as well as the determination of reserve areas, captive areas and protection perimeters. The new legislation will apply to contracts and licences issued after its coming into force, but the parties to previous exploration contracts may choose, through agreement, to adjust the contract to the new rules within a one-year period after its coming into force. As such, and in order to create a conducive environments to attract private investment in this sector, new base legislation has been approved with significant amendments to the previous legal framework, with the aim of obtaining an increasing level of initiative from investors. 26/4/2018 09:57 | The licence was originally held by Imerys Ceramics who supplied the ceramics industry so it makes sense that there will be a market for quartz and feldspar. Since SAV are mainly after energy metals these would have been wasted. So why not generate a little income? Not massive news but every little bit helps. | ged5
26/4/2018 08:59 | Yes it is very impressive and a good market to be in. | ukgeorge
26/4/2018 07:47 | More news, these fellas sure aren't hanging around, not even been exploring in portugal for 12 months yet and have drilled over 11,000m of shallow holes, established a JORC got the metallurgy results showing high recovery and now started on a bulk sample. Things storming along in Portugal with the continuous drilling. To have the scoping study and JORC upgrade out this Q will be some going in less than 12 months. A lot of miners take 2-3 years to get to that stage. Regards, Ed. | edgein
25/4/2018 09:20 | "Savannah Resources Plc (LON:SAV) has unearthed more higher grade lithium results from its ongoing drill programme at the Mina do Barroso project in Portugal. Results from twelve holes confirmed further lithium containing mineralisation, including higher grade over what it describes as significant widths. Highlight lithium grades ranged between 1.31% and 1.46%. The company said that the drilling at the Grandao and Grandao Extended had now defined a ‘virtually continuous zone of shallowly westerly dipping pegmatite’ and this has confirmed the zone’s excellent potential. "We continue to see very encouraging results from the drilling of Grandao Extended which, together with Grandao, are matched by a very low stripping ratio,” said David Archer, Savannah chief executive. “We believe this highlights the significant expansion potential available at Mina do Barroso as we continue to fast-track the Project towards production." To date, a total of 135 holes spanning 11,083 metres have been drilled across the project’s three primary areas – namely Grandao, Reservatorio and NOA. A scoping study and a new resource assessment are due to be completed towards the end of the second quarter. Phase 3 metallurgical programme, including diamond drilling, has been completed and materials have been shipped for testing. The results are anticipated during the third quarter. Meanwhile, diamond drilling has begun on the sub-vertical body at Grandao. hxxp://www.proactive | ged5
