24/5/2018 17:35 | PR is everything it seems.....look at Kim Karchrashion.... phucking basketcase yet rolling in it. BM are very social media heavy, industry I doubt are fooled by tweets. | ipwil
24/5/2018 17:05 | I work for Benchmark Minerals rivals they are a bunch of chancers although good at pr. | ukgeorge
24/5/2018 16:26 | And there was me bigging it up....and your going! ;) | ipwil
24/5/2018 16:25 | I've got a ticket to the Benchmark Minerals World Tour London event just before it, but no sign of agenda yet if SAV will be at it too. Sprott does not talk at the 'pizza' events! I might register for this actually, now I see mere mortals can go, as I may not be able to make the timing of the Benchmark Minerals event, though it is very battery space orientated. The keynote speaking quite relevant to this investment. | ipwil
24/5/2018 16:03 | I'm going to the event. So not that advanced :) Just tried to buy 50k quoted 8.425p | ukgeorge
24/5/2018 15:59 | Good spot UKGeorge. Looking at the clientele, it is somewhat more advanced than retail investor with free pizza types run in London. And much of the industry discussion will be about copper at it, so interesting we will be going with the Lithium story and HOPEFULLY an Oman Copper Mining Licence! | ipwil
24/5/2018 15:41 | Think there was a pause with people hoping for a substantial job; hasn't happened so people coming on board. | broncowarrior
24/5/2018 15:25 | hxxps://london-minin Savannah presenting in June at a mining journal event The Mining Journal Select London on 26-27 June 2018. | ukgeorge
24/5/2018 15:17 | No anniversary for Oman or Moz.... Last ministry recieved for submission to PAM Alara 11th May - Sav 14th May (3 days later) PAM licence granted for Alara 22nd May - Sav 25th May (3 days later) Many variables other than time (assuming they both submitted for PAM immediately) that would lead to time taken to come to decision. As for Portugal Archer always quite vocal about the speed at which it is progressing, to get the scoping study out in the year would be apt.... again circumstantial timing as end of May was hinted as possible completion. Conjecture with hope to distract the mind..... and light entertainment. It would give impetus to break past this selling in the 8s. | ipwil
24/5/2018 14:57 | Welcome and fingers crossed for a close on the high today | ukgeorge
24/5/2018 14:56 | Welcome! Two good points. I've only met with Michael, who is very professional and has integrity. Each asset (apart from Finland) has a subsidiary, so as you say, each one could be sold off if need be. I hope you're with us for the long haul and make a very substantial profit. | ged5
24/5/2018 14:26 | Just joined and like the management style. A diverse range of investments in diff locations that could be sold off or spun out at some stage in the future. | hugothesecond
24/5/2018 13:32 | Also I don't remember any anniversary announcements for Mutamba or Oman. Mildly entertaining but totally irrelevant! :)) | ged5
24/5/2018 13:26 | Alara Resources Last ministerial approval announced 11th May Announcement for licence approved 22nd May 7 working days Savannah Resources Last ministerial approval for Maqail South announced 2nd March Last ministerial approval for Mahab 4 announced 14th May So far 56 working days and 8 working days respectively. The important thing about tomorrow is that it's Friday! :-)) | ged5
24/5/2018 12:45 | From other BB Significance of tomorrow's date.... a: exactly the same number of days after Alara got final ministry as they got licence from PAM compared to us. Wishful thinking but it is a fact. Many other factors involved in the submission/discussio b: as pointed out yesterday tomorrow is the anniversary of Portugal aquisition, whilst only a date in itself, its whether SAV have something to give the market on that day as a jesture....scoping study being the most ground breaking one. However if its not ready its not ready, it was seen as very much on schedule to maybe come in early (though always deemed not to take the full term, with DFS showing starting in Q2). But some more extension and good grades will be good enough! Its all conjecture and hope but its still very probably all the same! | ipwil
24/5/2018 12:04 | Hi Hugo, have you just joined us? Nice rebound this morning. | ged5
24/5/2018 11:34 | Looks like we are ready for next leg up ...... | hugothesecond
23/5/2018 13:33 | can sell 250k at 7.51p or 50k at 7.65p tempting but so many bits of good news are due. I need to turn the computer off. I would like to top up on some petra but don't want to sell anything :) | ukgeorge

23/5/2018 10:22 | No need to apologise, HG. Thanks for sharing your figures. Much appreciated. I do think though that Portugal will add more to the mkt cap than Oman. Yes Bronco, I'm sure there'll be no figures before the licence is awarded in Oman. Thanks for adding to the list. No doubt the beast will be seen to be growing! :)) | ged5
23/5/2018 09:34 | Ged, sorry, yes the figures are higher! If the exploration targets come good once mining is up and running, at 25ktpa, Oman will be worth £250-300 million on the market cap. Add in Portugal and Moz and £500 million by 2020 should be achievable. So, 10x upside within 2-3 years... | highly geared
23/5/2018 09:34 | My guess would be mining award, then scoping study in that order. Also potential upgrade to resource for Portugal too. | broncowarrior
23/5/2018 09:09 | HG, 31500t of copper for Mahab 4. Have you included Maqail South in your figures. Let's not forget too, we also have block 4. | ged5
23/5/2018 08:44 | Thanks for your thoughts, ipwil. Always worth keeping an eye on the chart but of course it's the newsflow that will drive the share price 3 licences due this year: Oman: applications for 2 mines. Awards due any time. Portugal: ammendment to present licence any time. Most likely after the scoping study. Mozambique: Award due about October. Also:- Scoping study for Portugal expected to be within the next 6 weeks Pre-feasibility stage 1 for Mozambique due any time. Finance and resource upgrade for Oman. Of course there could be stummbling blocks/delays for any one of these but this management will do everything possible to make it all happen. | ged5
23/5/2018 08:12 | Oman 37,400 tonnes of copper to start with then a possible say 400,000 tonnes from the exploration targets. Assuming a reasonable outcome, potential to establish a 25,000 tonne per annum operation for 10-15 years. On the known copper now that’s c 82 million lbs which at $300 is around $250 million gross revenue. That’s just Oman, with Portugal and Moz, has to be worth £100 million market cap once the ML granted and more detail on finance. | highly geared |
