07/2/2018 13:53 | lithological heterogeneities7 Feb '18 - 09:50 - 2102 of 2112 0 1 0 I don't think many people care anymore as not many trust the management anymore after this disaster. And it IS a disaster. ==================== Speak for yourself LH as I have also added to my previous holding since relisting. Also it is not like any other straight forward takeover/reverse you mention in your 25 years as even until today, not everything has been completed. For me right now is a great time to invest or re-invest in SAVP but everyone to their own. | dorset64
07/2/2018 13:28 | What's the dictionary definition of near term?, given the deal has been done/placing achieved. 22/12/17 - "Our planned drilling campaign in Niger has the potential to deliver material near-term upside", Not medium or long term - i'd like to think they would have had the wheels in motion for the rig to be soon on site prior to the 2nd tranche (whether it went through or not) and close to a definitive spud date. | zengas
07/2/2018 13:07 | Westmoreland lad, that’s in a brokers note, not in an RNS. Even then, it’s a non specific ‘coming weeks’, and not even “will”, but “expected to” which means absolutely nothing. Buffy | buffythebuffoon
07/2/2018 11:47 | 20,000boe is a decent amount and probably above the price currently to when it was negotiated. If this revenue stream is coming in, plus these drills in Niger, the deal will have seemed a masterstroke, but there was so much that could go wrong, it is derisked now, not totally, but somewhat. I will buy if it starts to move up, I have a holding but A modest family car rather than a Pagani! I hope that all previous holders get there funds back and make a return, Ive been locked in like this and it can be infuriating. Well, the price is moving so something is happening. R. | rampair
07/2/2018 10:54 | It feels as though this is going to make up for lost time so there really is no point in crying over spilled milk. I too wish things had been done differently,or not at all, but we are where we are. This could be a great year and I am going to hold on for the long term and watch this one grow - hopefully, haha... | trulyscrumptious
07/2/2018 10:42 | Thanks for sharing Thomas. At last ! and the reason most of us are here --------------> The Niger multi well exploration campaign is expected to kick off in the coming weeks. GL | westmoreland lad

07/2/2018 10:27 | All - I thought the below Mirabaud note on SAVP this morning might be of interest. Savannah Petroleum (SAVP LN) has confirmed that it has received valid instructions from over 96% of Seven noteholders with respect to its exchange offer. The offer was a key outstanding condition on the Seven Energy reverse takeover, meaning that December£s US$125m placing is now unconditional, and trading of the new shares will commence on Friday this week. Not only does today£s news mean that the hard yards of the transformational deal are now complete, but with the new equity fully trading we expect Savannah to now be able to resume its exploration drilling campaign in Niger, which had been on hold for the past six months. The multi well exploration campaign is expected to kick off in the coming weeks, and with drilling centred on a region where CNPC has recorded a 93% success rate, its chances of delivering success at the drill bit are high. | thomasthetank1
07/2/2018 10:14 | Being a finance man, AK likes his financial engineering. Let’s hope we can focus a bit more on operations in the future, hopefully with no more suspensions. Would it be hoping too much to expect him to actually announce the date for commencement of drilling in Niger within the next week? Buffy | buffythebuffoon
07/2/2018 10:11 | However, as a new shareholder, I expect the gap to close to at least the placing price, but expecting volatility as locked in holders move their positions. If it all works though we could see a short term gain then ...decide whether to stay. R. | rampair
07/2/2018 10:06 | I have to say that given the work and effort to create this venture when you put it like that Litho H. Then I have to agree. | rampair
07/2/2018 09:50 | I don't think many people care anymore as not many trust the management anymore after this disaster. And it IS a disaster. Traded at 40-42p prior to RTO then came back 9-10 months later at 35p and immediately dropped to 28p and has stayed here. One of the only,if not the only, RTO in my 21 years to come back LOWER than when it left.Awful decision imho. Now in a terrible country for oil business to boot. Will be interesting to see what happens once all the new shares are issued Will the share price even move ? | lithological heterogeneities
07/2/2018 08:59 | We should get an update very shortly as the cash comes in around this Friday. Of the $125m - Cash consideration to SSNs $50.8m. Transaction costs $20m. Niger Drilling $37.4m. Working capital and corporate purposes $16.8m. Total $125m. $30m to come in from Asma (if this goes ahead) - Could this be to accommodate the field bid given they are fully funded ? News flow - Nigeria field bid early 2018. Niger drilling start up. Ongoing ops/lift production to over 20,000 boepd this year from the 2 acquired 7E fields. Significant free cash flow based on production from the initial 2 fields and its subsequent use. Convert 2C to 2P reserves. Dividend. | zengas
