in this whole shenanigans. Not everyone

I must confess to my immense disappointment here.

The market can be irrational at times, but it usually isn’t.

Very worrying that there is no interest in this share.

Despite AK and his golden slide rule, buying into Nigeria has been an unmitigated disaster for the share price

A sea of blue, another big buy

And nothing.

Having watched / listened to the interview a few times, although initially dubious about the Seven Energy tie up it does I suggest make commercial sense plus we have financing for Niger + 3 wells which is why I bought into SAVP in November 2016. Andrew Knott comes across as a shrewd, canny, CEO. I'm happier today than I have been for months. It looks as though finally, we now have a lucrative year ahead.

Thanks ttt.

AK still not the best interviewee but he doesn't seem full of bs either, I think I prefer it that way.

All - thought you might like to see an interview with Andrew Knott, CEO of Savannah Petroleum, on Core Finance.

Further acquisitions are going to happen imo and this company will become a very large player. Imo the 7e asset acquisition and institutional backing is going to be a significant deal to leverage off.

For $280m consisting of $50m cash, $145m paid in equity and $85m of debt - This bought 92 mmboe P2, 41 mmboe 2C and potentially 100 mmboe exploration upside with 14,000 boepd and a 20% carried interest in the Accugas gas business.

They've now increased production to nearly 21,000 boepd with it set to increase to 30,000 boepd in the next year. That will throw off a significant amount of cash.

AK when asked about newsflow in addition to the Niger drilling newsflow "There are a variety of opportunities which the business can internally deal with in terms of financing which can bolt on"

The presentation also said "significant inorganic activity" ie acquisitions.

We now have significant financial backing and reserves/production.

Realistically the company could pick up further distressed assets and possibly double it's reserves, production and perhaps it's cash flow in the process all at a time when we have full interest in Niger and where increased cash flow would really ramp up drilling there in the event of success from this current drill programme.

Yey - yes it is.

I cant decide whether to buy a few more or not. Got a reasonable chunk (for me) already but we do seem very cheap with whats potentially in Niger.

Good to see now over the 30p mark with the ask at 31p and 30.90p paid.

Bid/Ask totals in the right direction - 123k v 93k.
