01/8/2019 08:40 | About the recent director buys, not massive yet not to be sniffed at. I slept over these last night and re-drawn my red-lines when/if to top up. IMO these directors recently bought, topped up on the back of their belief that they do not have what it takes to help the poor Sag share holders and therefore Elliot would buy-out, force split, therefore, enhancing the share price. DYOR Regards C7 - hoping to make a quick profit within days or a bigger profit within a few weeks by topping up/etc and then Elliot makes their move. | cautious7

31/7/2019 09:33 | That director buy is not that substantial...once upon a time director buys meant something... | diku
31/7/2019 08:30 | Good substantial director buys today. Think this would be unlikely if there was a poor trading update around the corner. They must have news on how the new strategy is faring and looks like all positive. | sharebuddy1
31/7/2019 07:36 | Yeah they do that quite a lot IMO it is to try to stop a share from bombing further buywell does not like this chart or the fundamentals but dyor | buywell3

30/7/2019 22:45 | Thanks Koester. TBH as always, I don't do charts/etc but my own charts, watch, read news re share price interested in and digest what is going on around me re the company, world and then decide how much to gamble and if a quick kill or be stuck with the share price and top-up strategy with red lines clearly defined with a few percentage +/- allowance. I'm the first to admit that once in in a certain co/sp, I too can be guilty of blinkered views. UBS brokers remain 'neutral' today, just one of the several tools I use to make a decison but my gut instinct is the best tool IMMHO. FYI and those that follow me, I've been out of the direct shares markets for at least 3.5 years and possibly close to 4 years. Yes, I'm brutally honest in my posts as IRL, fact Thanks you. ATB DYOR Regards C7 - Respected Blogger, Fact! | cautious7

30/7/2019 17:23 | Buywell. Markets look forward. Your focus is on the awful past. And the awful past is why the share price has collapsed. Big question now is whether policy changes and new C/E will see a more successful strategy, andcshare price recovery. Jury is out on that at least until next update. Also charts are useful, but are just one more useful investment tool. No competent Institutional investor is going to make an investment decision based only on the chart. | kenmitch
30/7/2019 16:34 | That's what they about CNA | poleaxe
30/7/2019 16:22 | Your figures are allowing for a large goodwill write down which hopefully will not be repeated. No doubt Saga is a cash generative business and should be assessed accordingly | sharebuddy1
30/7/2019 16:19 | Year on year, both dividends per share and earnings per share excluding extraordinary items growth dropped -55.56% and -210.65%, respectively. Strike 3 woof woof woof It's a dog | buywell3
30/7/2019 16:18 | In 2019, cash reserves at Saga PLC fell by 69.70m. However, the company earned 138.00m from its operations for a Cash Flow Margin of 16.40%. In addition the company used 99.80m on investing activities and also paid 107.90m in financing cash flows. Likewise IMO savvy investors read these sort of things IMO | buywell3
30/7/2019 16:16 | Year on year Saga PLC had net income fall from a gain of 139.40m to a loss of 162.00m despite relatively flat revenues. A contributing factor has been an increase in the selling, general and administrative costs as a percentage of sales from 26.12% to 26.45%. from the FT Might have something to do with the drop IMO | buywell3 |
