Last year on 24th Jan there was the trading update. This year will be on 30th Jan for FY ending 31 Jan 2024. Preliminary results published for this FY on 17 April 24.Hope for positive update - strong cruise business performance and turnaround in the insurance business. Think we have been through the worst and will start the share price rerating. Onwards and upwards!

Looking farther than the point of the market's nose, a new lower interest rate cycle will soon start. The 2024 Bond has no problems in getting paid.
By the time the next big bond is due in 2026, or perhaps long before, interest rates will allow it either be re-financed at a lower rate than 5.5%, or rolled over, probably for a lesser amount.

It seems likely Eldose will continue to buy shares to the 10% threshold. It will be interesting then if a bid takes place or De-Haan takes Privately or another partner ie Eldose.

If any bid comes in it has to be around De-Haan's original figure to gain any traction.

Doubled my holding today, which will average down my entry point.Agree. Think we will start to see Saga rerating in 2024 and beyond. As long term investment think this will make a good return.

Kulvinder don’t worry saga has definitely turned the corner this time. With the UAE guy buying, travel and cruises doing well as well as insurance market turning the corner. I would expect to see saga’s cash flow and share price to both rocket

I hope you are both right as I increased my position here in anticipation of this improving on the next announcement in Jan 24, after some recovery in my other big hold PFC, unfortunately had to come out of TLW, as I had to protect my holding in PFC with bring heavily shorted of late, coz if PFC went, it was game over for me as far investing in single stocks. No funds to get back my original TLW holding as I think next year it will hit 60/70p I originally bought at some 3 years ago.

This will be at 200 before you know it, judging by the blurb coming from Carnival it appears cruise ships are floating ATM's, and our Arab friend seems to know this as well...
