30/11/2009 12:15 | sounds unlikely. Anyway I would expect Lipmans to protect value of shares, currently intrinsically protected by NAV. I would think comparative undervaluation of safeland is normal in historical context and not in itself alarming in current circumstances. There are obvious reasons why investors might not flock in. Like, the market in the shares is a bit sticky. The directors pay themselves well while the company doesn't always make a profit. Or as the chap above said, 'company should really be private'. One hears all these as things putting individuals off the company's shares. I wouldn't be alarmist and I would buy at this price, about a quarter of NAV, if it didn't overweight me. | dupree
27/11/2009 14:15 | mryesyes.....What do you mean by your post on 26/11, I can't understand it. How can the banks get involved? | the_beagle
27/11/2009 12:56 | Value is here by the cart load, all we have to do is wait. | tara7
27/11/2009 12:50 | I never thought I'd hear Safeland called a 'pump and dump stock'. net asset value/share last calculated at 63p? | dupree
27/11/2009 12:24 | SAF is worth just 2M pounds, sell up the company and you get that back in a year just by not paying the directors.!! | tara7
27/11/2009 12:16 | 4P spread just what i love and you hate. Now if you think they will go to 50p the 4p is not an issue. Big spreads for me has bought big profits. | tara7
27/11/2009 12:10 | Yeah right a 4p spread..........anot | petralva
27/11/2009 12:01 | Not long and this stock will be top of the risers board, we all know any real buying will move them up fast. | tara7
27/11/2009 11:58 | If you can get hold of them you are doing well, tell us how to get hold of a lump please. | tara7
27/11/2009 11:55 | lowest safeland share price since '93 is it? It's not asking a lot to double from here. I looked for safeland news somewhere..they got a directors pay award for paying 13% of turnover in directors pay?? I bought some in the 20's so ...but just a few more can't hurt | dupree
26/11/2009 13:54 | 90% dilution, that would mean the directors give the company to the bank, smells like a rat to me.[But could be wrong.] | tara7
26/11/2009 13:52 | Also not much stock around, [no big seller other than you?] | tara7
26/11/2009 13:45 | Mryesyes, might be right, however me sees value here. | tara7
26/11/2009 13:32 | No knock down price mate, they are announcing its delisting and the issuing of new 90% dilutionary shares to its bankers. The announcement was to have been out prior to the LLOY/DUBAI gllitch | mryesyes
26/11/2009 13:06 | Surely the worry here, has to the Directors taking this private at a knock down price. | hastings
26/11/2009 10:25 | Glad I bailed out a couple of weeks ago, actually with a profit. At the time I saw a company which should really be private at a price that looked full value. Back at 14p it looks interesting again and I think I might have another nibble. When are the results scheduled to be announced? If any hint of property values rising these could be back over 20p in no time imo. | the_beagle
26/11/2009 09:58 | After a life time of work do you think this company is only worth £2.00M. Loans to the company are cheap being around 2.3% pa, banks worked with them for 20 years, and property market turned just after the half year. | tara7
26/11/2009 09:50 | hard to see what it relates to. That share of Tara's top ten with the valuable land has made gains of similar proportion to safeland falls, hard to see what thats about either. I must confess to not understanding market making. Perhaps whats encouraging topvest is the posibilty of equally interesting rises sometime. one has to consider adding as a short term gambit. | dupree
26/11/2009 09:49 | Hit a new low today on fears of de-listing and results due next week, Time for me to buy. £2M Market Cap when property is on the turn is plain wrong. | tara7
26/11/2009 09:47 | This has dropped on minimal trading volumes. On the face of it the suggested asset value makes the share price seem very cheap and yet the price just keeps dropping which is a concern | gantenbrink
26/11/2009 09:44 | Fear here of a de listing and poor results due next week, TIME FOR TARA TO BUY. | tara7
25/11/2009 22:02 | Back down to where we were a few months back. Hardly encouraging! | topvest
25/11/2009 11:02 | This dog is still falling. | crawford
24/11/2009 10:49 | This fall is a bit overdone isn't it? Asset's are worth much more than sp! | mike_f |
