16/7/2024 14:22 | I just proved you wrong Wally, not that I expected any apology. If you have to make comments try sticking to the facts in future, cut out your lies that are blatantly intended to mislead other posters. | ![]() nige co
16/7/2024 13:27 | Lol, Q1 sales revenue was down 14.9% on Q1 23. Net debt rose £26m to £206m. And you think that beat expectations?? BB'S have to put up with paid rampers, unfortunately they swamp all over ADVFN. But we don't have to put up with deliberate misleading posts. Please stop. Let's be realistic about S4, they are in a survival race (which the increasing short % clearly demonstrates). Basically can S4 start generating cash and paying down debt before the banks say "no more ". | ![]() wallywoo
16/7/2024 09:29 | Yesterday and today two market down days, S4 share price flat to up, Volume over the past two days has dropped off a cliff. Sellers exhausted? If 6 month trading update beats market expectation like in Q1, let's see what reaction the market takes. | ![]() nige co
16/7/2024 07:07 | Thank goodness the market does not care about the opinion of halfwits. | ![]() tongosti
15/7/2024 15:07 | Can't find any information that the short % is declining. In fact it is higher than it has ever been!!! Lol, perhaps the paid ramper crew on here will finally stop, since the share falling from 850 to 53p in 2.5 years has a much higher short share than ever!!! S4 still losing cash, maxed out on debt already, issuing shares like sweets. It's not surprising really. How much longer can they keep going? | ![]() wallywoo

12/7/2024 15:54 | Looks like Alpine Associates are closing their shorts at a loss over on BDEV. Interesting. | ![]() auson1
12/7/2024 09:36 | I take your point but no way would anyone be able to buy half of S4 shares for todays share price. | ![]() nige co
12/7/2024 09:31 | hxxps://www.business Sir Martin in India this weekend for the wedding of the year, hopefully he can get the Ambanis buying into S4 🤣 Reported wedding cost is £150m, could have bought half of S4 instead 😂 | ![]() london07
11/7/2024 13:33 | Auson, I thought that it was around 45% until I Googled it, it was 140%. I remember watching the film last year on Netflix, it was claimed that the same shares were shorted 3X. | ![]() nige co
11/7/2024 13:05 | Wasn't game stop something like 35% short ? | ![]() auson1
11/7/2024 12:52 | GameStop Corp springs to mind? I know that they were heavily shorted, not the same comparison as with S4. | ![]() nige co
11/7/2024 12:13 | I'd love to find out pal - let's hope it's quicker than 6 months! | ![]() tongosti
11/7/2024 11:44 | tongosti, I guess we will find out given time, possibly within 6 months ? | ![]() auson1
11/7/2024 11:35 | Don't think lenders take such risks on their book with illiquid stocks. Shorts of small stocks are always naked in nature with no hedging of sorts. Delta one folks make sure of that. | ![]() tongosti
11/7/2024 11:32 | Auson, yes that would make sense otherwise they would be left vulnerable. | ![]() nige co
11/7/2024 11:21 | Nige Co, That would feed into my accumulate theory no ? Its possible the shorts could be covered for losses by hedging and some prior agreement with the stock lender. I don't think they will end up out of pocket here if it is all part of the plan, like I think it is. | ![]() auson1
11/7/2024 11:12 | Auson, interesting analysis regarding shorts. I personally hope that shorts continue to increase their holdings. They are playing with fire, any good news released by the company will see them scrambling to close out, liquidity could be their enemy. After the run up in share price last week I was expecting that shorts would have reduced, when in fact they increased slightly. So if it wasn't shorts closing who else apart from directors (480k) was buying? Anyone subscribe to Bloomberg? Would you mind posting a screenshot of S4 Capitals largest shareholders. Thanks. | ![]() nige co
11/7/2024 10:21 | From over eight years of monitoring such matters, I would confidently assert that including short positions under 0.5% you can double that 1.82% figure. In this case I would likely say you could triple the percentage. I don't think its a far stretch to assume there could be around 5% total short. I also reckon our US holders might be behind the stock lending to keep pressure on/ accumulate to gain a seat on the board. | ![]() auson1
11/7/2024 08:57 | Low percentage to overall float but fuel to the fire nevertheless. We have been basing all year as discussed yesterday. As they say the longer the base the higher in space. Come on S4! | ![]() tongosti
11/7/2024 08:50 | Shorts increased from 1.70% to 1.82% 10.923m shares in total. | ![]() nige co
