01/9/2020 14:04 | 12% down today, 70% down since jan 1st. disaster for shareholders. losses accelerating. | careful
01/9/2020 14:00 | the company pension scheme is not allowed to own RR shares. and the pension fund is in surplus, no problems there. | careful
01/9/2020 13:57 | My guess is that the company pension scheme is loaded with RR. Shares. Not good | vikingwarrier
01/9/2020 13:53 | Short interest is lower but not closing, in fact increasing a bit: - - | fuji99
01/9/2020 13:31 | Complete restructuring has start that's why the are closing various facilities around the world. Smaller global footprint, less employees , less cost | bigloz32
01/9/2020 13:31 | This time around things are different. There are so many companies in danger of going bust right now, all begging to be nationalised or baled out. HMG must be thinking of a new approach. The banks were baled out in 2008/9 and it almost wiped out shareholders. Does Warren East or RR employees care about going bust as long as their jobs are safe ? Shareholders have legal rights but are way down the list. Thatcher cared about free market capitalism and shareholders, but Boris cares about Boris. | careful
01/9/2020 13:25 | tide turning folks time to buy shorts closing out now. | datait
01/9/2020 13:17 | It was Edward Heath who baled out RR last time. 1971. Privatised by Maiggie in 1987. | careful
01/9/2020 13:07 | Complete restructuring on the cards, investor wipeout. RR were nationalised under Thatcher last time they were in deep trouble, then refloated years later, wonder if that scenario could happen again. | porsche1945
01/9/2020 12:57 | In fact I've entered around 218. I'll double if we get to 212/213 and drop the lot at a loss if that doesn't hold. | stupmy
01/9/2020 12:56 | Price may test it's recent low around 212 (set in Aug this year) very soon). This co-incides with potentially strong support from 2004. I'm looking to try a speculative entry at these levels. | stupmy
01/9/2020 12:55 | down 10% on just 14m shares traded. the mysteries of the market. some understand the pricing methods, (or pretend to.) When a little over 0.5% of a company gets traded the share price falls 10%. There can be almost no real sellers at this price and obviously no buyers either. Makes us wonder what would happen to a bloated share price such as Tesla if say 5% of shareholders decided to sell out, to cash in, at the same time. A sudden collapse would occur, the wealth is an illusion, and so often the losses are unreal also. | careful
01/9/2020 12:39 | Shorts are all over this Timbrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr | datait
01/9/2020 12:37 | Can not be taken over the Government will now allow it full stop. | datait
01/9/2020 12:24 | 52 week low | ammu12
01/9/2020 12:13 | You can add to that list SMR's. The gov't's of the 50's and 60's would have awarded RR a contract to develop and roll out at least a dozen of these by now creating thousands of high value added jobs and $billions in exports but all the current shower understand is to shell out £billions on furlough schemes to keep millions of workers sitting on their backsides & taking jollies at the expense of future generations | rogerrail
01/9/2020 11:48 | So many interesting projects at RR. going on. The RR. electric racer is ready to fly by the end of the year. All electric aircraft is aiming to smash the current world record if 213 mph. Also new industry partners are being assembled for team Tempest the latest generation strike aircraft. A collaborative project with Virgin on a mach 3 design. so much disruptive change, new technologies are the key, RR.traditional business is changing. Vulnerable to a predatory takeover, China/America lurking. The Golden share will need to be activated or RR. will go foreign. | careful
01/9/2020 11:18 | If it does go for less well I can wait it’s not a problem cash is king in the end. But patience is very hard to keep hence buying to soon. | albert3591

01/9/2020 11:01 | I remember Beatlemania, seems crazy looking back on it. But this Covidmania is really much worse. The scam of the century. Very few are dying from it compared with other health problems. In a country where 12,000 die every week at the best of times, about 600,000 per annum. We are down to talking about l00 deaths per week or less. Often those close to death from other causes. Number of infections, so what, mostly symptomless or similar to a heavy cold. They may as well test for dandruff. Imagine a man tested positive for dandruff and died 4 weeks later. ps he had terminal cancer and heart problems and was 88 years old. What a farce, the next phase is conspiracy theories. | careful
