I closed all my leveraged positions for 12-14p profit around 230/231. I've kept a few shares, but may well drop those too. Must admit I was hoping for 237-241.

The FTSE 100 engineer said under the contract with China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC) it would provide a complete system using its Spinline digital technology for the Zhangzhou 1 and Zhangzhou 2 reactors.

The system will be designed, made and tested by Rolls-Royce instrumentation and control teams based in Grenoble, France. The teams will supervise installation and commissioning by CNNC. The technology monitors continuously the reactor's power, fuctuations and distribution within the reactor.

The deal is a welcome piece of good news for Rolls-Royce, whose aerospace business has been battered by the Covid-19 crisis and its impact on the aviation industry. Rolls-Royce shares rose 6% to 230.6p at 10:55 BSt.

Stéphane Lessi, business director at Rolls-Royce civil nuclear France, said: “For more than 25 years, we have been collaborating with CNNC in China. We are delighted to have signed this new contract, which is further proof of the confidence that CNNC places in our I&C technologies and in our people”.

Rolls-Royce said more than 130 of its neutron flux monitoring systems were installed or chose for nuclear reactors worldwide including 42 systems in China.

I do not believe all that guff about life will never be the same again after Covid.
Nice for Amazon, Netflix, Microsoft and Apple if we all stay at home staring at our screens and waiting for stuff to be delivered.
I doubt that.

Last year we were told the ~Brexit divisions will fracture our society for decades.
Now, barely 1 year later most of us struggle to remember which way we voted.

This hyped up virus, which has petrified billions will be gone as soon as it arrived.
Just another nasty health risk along with all of the others..

The youngsters will reject this online nightmare and live with risks.

I think we will be back to normal within 12 months. You have a 44 in 1 million chance of catching C19 and and 1 in a million chance of dying from it! You have more chance of getting run over by a bus. Vaccine could be here in a few months so good time to buy if you feel recovery early next year.

If price were to close above 219, it could signal a move to 230/231.

Price may test it's recent low around 212 (set in Aug this year) very soon. This co-incides with potentially strong support from 2004. I'm looking to try a speculative entry at these levels.

In fact I've entered around 218. I'll double if we get to 212/213 and drop the lot at a loss if that doesn't hold.

The largest portion of the RR. order book.

Post Covid the trend is likely to be for XWB (extra wide body) aircraft.
The age of passengers packed together like sardines may be coming to an end.
Not for nothing do they call Easy jet Squeezy jet.

Passengers will demand more space in future.
