Any right issue will be fully underwritten.
It will make no difference to RR. if current holders do not participate.

Raise is ment to be this month and will be offered to shareholders so it will have to be at a discount otherwise why bother to take part

Vaccine is still months away but not necessary for recovery of aviation sector if Rapid testing is implemented before flight takeoff. US recently purchased millions of rapid tests from Abbot Labs. An even bigger gamechanger will be the saliva Lateral flow test being developed by Avacta.

I want to buy in here but concerned by the possibility of a rights issue pushing it even lower. Rolls could be one of the quicker recovery plays IF a vaccine is found.

Boeing are in deep trouble again, this time with the Dreamliner.

As if things are not bad enough with Covidmania.

Beginning wonder if Boeing, and others in this industry, have lost their corporate know how.
Replacing older experienced engineers who have walked the boards and solved previous disasters, with highly qualified young computer geeks is a recipe for disaster in this industry.

It needs experienced, boring, dedicated engineers with a grey hair or two.

They are considering options to strengthen the balance sheet according to Warren East, CEO.

They seem to have enough cash for the moment and optimistic noises are made about future profitability in the medium term.
What assumptions are made to arrive that these conclusions, who knows.

They are taking their time if a rights issue is on the way.
And a complete restructuring involving 9000 lost jobs must take management effort.

We must hold the faith and hope that East knows what he is doing, not just for RR. but for we shareholder owners also.
