21/3/2020 14:32 | RRE is debt free and has a total of £272 million equivalent to £20.7 per share. Where does one find such a gem to own in these troubled times. Many small oilers with debt will go under within one year. Only cash rich ones will survive and will take over most of the oil market. Buy and hold RRE. In 6 months the Chinese economy will start powering ahead but not many oilers will be around for the supply. So one can already imagine where RRE share price will be in one year or so with screaming oil demand. | fuji99
21/3/2020 12:23 | U.S. to send envoy to Saudi Arabia; Texas suggests oil output cuts #oott | ammu12
21/3/2020 09:22 | Saudis looking for ways out of this mess they've created. The Americans should co-operate imo, they've refused on previous occasions but better than going bust. Financial Times: Opec has approached Texas state energy regulator and US shale producers about co-ordinated cuts to oil output to counter the impact of the spread of coronavirus on fuel demand. | paleje

20/3/2020 16:56 | Said this in last RNS ..... At the end of February, Rockrose was debt-free with net cash of £272.1 million (equivalent to £20.75 per share) of which £39.5 million was restricted. Final results for 2019 are expected to be published the week beginning 23rd March 2020. | thedudie

20/3/2020 16:34 | Monday 23 March. AA announced this in his latest interview | simplemilltownboy
20/3/2020 16:16 | When are the results ? | ammu12
20/3/2020 16:14 | Agreed, some people will be getting out due to the weekend, me thinks. Monday morning should put some fizz into this share price RRE has been dropped with all other Oiler's, great that there's no debt and has OPEC of 22dollars a barrel, so whilst not making loads of money, it's still profitable unlike loads of other Oiler's in this environment. AA will do what he does best over the next year which is doing excellent deals. GLA | simplemilltownboy
20/3/2020 16:11 | Bid 602 ask 632 share price = 598 How does that works ? | ammu12
20/3/2020 15:54 | Exciting for a bit, then petered out. Just tracking the oil price at the moment with no value added. | charlesjames1
20/3/2020 15:09 | Well done spawny, wish I had done the same, sold at circa 10, bought back in yesterday as well. Spirit is interesting and the price tag will start looking attractive but I'm sure there will be loads of other assets NOCs will want to shed. Good luck and stay safe | simplemilltownboy
20/3/2020 11:44 | I think giving a special divi is pointless. Share price will go up and spike and then it will fall rapidly when it goes ex div. Everyone will be trying to sell after they qualify for the special div but before everyone else sells. A very sharp movement is likely! £5 would cost £60m roughly. Spend £60 million or even £10 million buying a few back and the rise will be more sustainable and would result in higher NAV/share if the share price was stationary or a constant NAV/share if the shareprice rises by the buyback percentage ratio. Only worthwhile doing in companies that intend to grow quickly though. | thedudie
20/3/2020 11:00 | Yes an extra £5 per share would be lovely. | danawinner
20/3/2020 10:22 | I wonder if he might raise the final dividend slightly or a small special dividend with the results. | bigalan3 |
