It is intriguing that there has been no RNS as yet today.Could it be that discussions are ongoing with some major shareholders as to what the price for the company should be b-with 25 million in the bank and 25000 barrels of oil a day coming in at much higher prices than when the offer was made?I certainly hope so and on that basis I cannot see an offer being accepted at less than £25. All speculation of course those that are still holding are clearly optimistic.

I'm with Spawny. TXP is the one for me!!! Should be 80 pence this week upon the announcement of the chinook spud and quarterly earning report (report will be subdued as oil production was not sold at the lower levels but oil sold at a later date at a higher price).Once the flarestack lights at chinook we will be north of £1 and onwards from there upon confirmation of the chinook reserves by a third party. All IMHO and Dyofr. That is the plan at any rate.

Also sold mine today and reinvested in OXB on the back of the Peston suggestion that positive news re the Oxford Covid vaccine is imminent. May have missed out on an extra 1% but I'm hoping on making more than that tomorrow on OXB.

So what's the next RRE then folks? Where is your money going? I see Longboat Energy (LBE) are being touted and they have ambitious plans, but early days for them and it remains to be seen what deals they can do compared to Austin's acquisitions.

Any other suggestions out there?
