fuji99 whilst I am a large relatively holder of RRE (and at higher prices than this!)
I don't think they are on a PE of 2.5 now do you?
I appreciate a lot of the gas will be hedged but a lot of the oil will be making serious accounting and possibly cash losses now. IMHO and dyor!

PE ratio of 2.5, loads of cash and share price almost at IPO now. Amazing !
Impossible anybody would have imagined this would get below £15 just a few weeks ago.

If AA doesn't need a public market for his shares, because of the cash position and book debt, I don't see why he doesn't take it private.

To be honest, they could make a bid at cash value only and still give a healthy return from here and sweep up assets for free. I'd certainly be thinking about it.

I wonder if AA will take this private - set up for him to do so.

Not heard from nigel for a while. Has he bailed again?

Exactly my thoughts. I've set orders every leg lower it goes. It's about conviction. Dont believe it then bail out and start playing the how low is it going to go game instead

just buy more every 100p down and relax.

Its good a very strong balance sheet, room to cut capex if needed, and is a 60/40 split of oil/gas, gas being heavily hedged.

Compared to most others, apart from maybe JSE (PTAL ish), and the Bp/Shell, they are in a great position to shelter form this storm.

Also dividend is covered about 12x, that is just crazy.

Theres no stopping this going down to 200p just wait and see.

Bizzare pricing if this is a quarter of its cash on balance sheet. Opportunity for the coming year

They need to be in cash conservation mode, not frittering it away on needless dividends that mostly go into AA's back pocket.

There is nothing to stop management from issuing say £6 per share as a dividend. That would still leave £14 a share unrestricted cash

Why do some posters think that anonymity gives them a license to print obscenities? What part of their anatomy is puerile?

What about oil at 15-17$ still think you will see RRE above 200-300!?

their cash gives them a massive cushion for periods such as this, think it would be good if they pushed some capex further into 2020.

vols - 500p is almost here

I agree as well...............RRE will sit this out and then carry on with what they want to do and which has been explained to shareholders..........expansion.

In the meantime maybe £5 is a bottom BUT who knows!!!!

I doubt it. The management will want to use available cash to snap up significantly undervalued assets if they can.

Holding this share is the closest thing to sitting on cash as they have 3x their market cap in cash. I predict management will shortly return a significant amount to shareholders
