Opec+ agree to extend cuts and extract extract cut from non complying nations.

Should help the oil price and RRE on Monday.

Yes, look at the market cap rather than the share price.

Agree about the spread though.

100% gain is just that regardless of supposed “high” share price.

A share priced at 10p will go to 20p if it doubles.

And a share priced at £10 will go to £20.

The only time a “high” share price is an obvious problem is if it is exceptionally “high.”

E.g if share price is £2000 then 1 share costs £2000 and so it is impossible for small investors to sell a portion or take part profits if wanting to continue to hold.

It's a multi-parameter problem.

What might deter buyers is not the share price but the spread. From that point of view, improving liquidity might be a good idea.

I rarely post on advfn, but jaymin, it is exceptionally rare for people to take the price of a share as an absolute and sole guide to value of a stock. If a 'high price' in £ keeps people away, then good, as they are too stupid to be investing in the first place and it saves them from themselves. Please focus on all the factors and not a numeric value.

If they waste time and money from doing a share consolidation then I'll seriously consider selling my shares as management would clearly be devoid of any sense by allowing them to be distracted from running the business
