"Curious jump in the last two minutes of trading, price maintained in the closing auction. Someone want to own these. (me included) News afoot?"

Seems my comment on Friday was spot on for a change.

I think another bidder will emerge. Let's hope that one is too!

well, good return after buying in a few weeks ago. Still, do think they gave it away for next to nothing...

Oh did you nige - apologies - when was that - you were always so "anti" de-comm costs?
What is a few out of interest, one man's few can be many to another?

Don't tell me nige - you bought a load last week?
I thought you were never a fan of RRE?

Bought a few at £8 - as I posted on here.

I guess it is a good return for most investors though. Money in the bank and move on.

Got to admit am "indifferent" on this offer it seems good value in this market but not good long term value (IMHO) but I've done bloody well out of it so cannot really complain?
I'd imagine a lot of RRE money will find it's way to SQZ?!

Can clearly be trumped - 35% irrevocables. Lets see whether it draws out other offerors. Has to be a good chance that it will

Absolutely no chance.

Fantastic offer under the circumstances. Any offer above the pre-covid price should be welcomed as it offers a chance to unload into other oil companies in the sector that have seen their share prices slump in the wake of COVID-19 - PHAR & GENL come to mind.

I'm surprised the board are happy to accept the price. I personally will vote against but doubt there is much PIs can do now

We always claimed the share price was too low and was vulnerable to a bid.

It not great even though I get a small return. I was waiting a year to see this over 2000p

Mixed feelings. Its a nice premium compared to today's sp, but essentially just buying the cash on the balance sheet and getting the assets for free.

And that RRE was supposed to be the predator.

So that'll be why the share price was being sat on with daily sells sprinkled on to keep it down. Shameful that this sort of thing is allowed to happen in plain sight.

£18.50 seems like robbery to me.

Thats for 50% not 25%, I looked at the original terms-

In a separate deal, Premier will also pay up to $246 million (£187 million) to Dana for a further 25% stake in the Tolmount Area, for which Premier is already the operator. Tolmount, which is off Yorkshire, is expected to deliver its first gas before the end of 2020.
