Added a few back into the PF today. Sold these at 9.50 back in April and traded up elsewhere. Can't believe still sub cash levels with Brent near 40 dollars!

Well if they spend the cash but make the same back they will still be sitting on 22pounds share worth of cash. Not a bad outcome for a market under such pressure

Dunderhead, we are still cash positive on our production, add that to current cash level and I think by year end I think we will still have same level of cash or thereabouts plus as craggle says 20k prod assets and Arran to come on line plus without doubt a higher oil price IMHO what's to be disappointed in that.

Last I saw was from January update -
"FID for Tain is targeted for mid-2020 with first oil in 2022 at a rate of ~3,500 boed(net)"

I haven't seen it has been dropped.

Your correct that some of the cash will be spent, but people are only pointing out a very basic mcap to cash ratio. You surely have to assign some value to 20k BPD of producing assets?Arran field due on line beginning of 2021 which will add to this.But fairly pointed out

Yeah a few companies I hold have been doing the same recently.

Can I point out and before I get accused of trying to de-ramp to get in cheaper - I do hold quite a few of these shares - a fair proportion of the cash we keep on referring to - will be spent on various capex this year.
I haven't bothered looking too much into it but feel all this £22 quid a share cash may incur some "disappointment" at year end with Brent at current sales values?

It is purely regulatory procedures under the listing rules. It was stated in either an old annual report or an rns from a year or so back that they needed to do it.
