that's good, thanks for clarification.
Do you think .... just maybe... that recent share price strength not only based on re-valuation to cash levels and possibly ..., the PMO deal for BP assets being "re-negotiated"?
Don't take non reply as rudeness as busy elsewhere now!

Claims issued by the Ukrainian tax authorities for additional rental fees for 2010 and 2015 are being contested through the Ukrainian court process as explained in the 2019 Annual Report. Final resolution of the 2010 rental fee claim case is expected in the next few months. As previously reported, four of the eight 2015 cases were closed in favour of JKX's subsidiary in Ukraine, Poltava Petroleum Company (PPC). Final resolution of the remaining 2015 rental fee claims cases is expected during 2021.So far so good on Jkx

Yes Dunderheed I see that, with the added taster that we may get bought out.

Robo a simple revaluation considering (unless we get 2nd worldwide wave) oil price likely to keep on increasing?

lol, spamming every board possible, but fails to mention JKX outstanding tax issues via the courts, if it goes in their favour, yes it's a possible buy, but JKX will need to wait until September at the earliest for a resolution. Where would you want to operate, North Sea or Russia and Ukraine ?

Time to move to JKX. Not ridden the oil price rally at all yet, Unlike here, no debt, p2 reserves over 100m and 10,000 boepd production. Probably the biggest bargain out there at 30m mkt cap..15m USD in the bank at last count and NO DEBT. Not many shares avaliable at the current low price so should move pretty swiftly... Also hold a 10% stake in UNB, Ukraines biggest O+G producer probably worth 30m plus....

Yes it's a good point on how many distressed assets there are right now. And then you have to ask why they are distressed in the first place! I think the biggest opportunity is acquiring proven reserves from an explorer that has no cashflow and needs to sell the assets to keep them alive for the next wildcat drill. Not ouch much research time into it so couldn't honestly say what the probability of finding one is.
