Taken a position.

Reminds me of GKP before the Shaikan discovery, a friends and family placing to get them in and holding ahead of a stream of good news.

Time will tell of course. Could be some massive rises ahead, or a big fall, take your chances, one thing for sure, it wont be this price in the weeks ahead. Just a case of which way will it go.

excellance, how do you know they haven't found anything? They will wait for lab results before announcing to the market but that's not quite the same thing as 'not finding anything'. Would you rather the company's share price halved and they raised at lower prices?
They will raise that's the point of the listing and I can't understand your apparent objection to doing so at higher prices.

Was it when the share price had doubled by any chance, cos the story hasn't changed, they haven't found anything yet.

Presumably you are thinking in the nanosecond time frame. Only a few weeks ago you could buy these for a penny and below that for months. I'd say someone who bought in the last few months is relatively new but each to their own.

The purpose of being a listed company is to raise money and if a company raises at ever increasing prices that's a positive imo.

I was thinking only the other day that this rise would have well and truly aroused the fee-monster..... whispering, at first 'fundraise..funddraisse', and gradually shouted 'FUNNDDRAISSE.. FFUUNNNDRRRAIZZZE'..

AND there we have it: yet another dollop --- that's ROCK for you

And I, for one wouldn't be surprised if ther aren't many, many more thumping placings for 'manyana gold'

There's ALWAYS 'gold' in that field, in that mountain, in that plateau, it's deeper, it's wider.....but... never quite found

Interesting thst they raise a million quid just in case they intersect a high grade zone.

That's interesting a fund raising at nearly twice the price of the last one in fairly quick succession. They obviously can't publish any results from the drilling yet but I wonder if they have preliminary indicators.
