volume moves the share price - and large blasts of blue or red volume often mark the beginning and end of a trend movement - so this is an encouraging look further - the degree of that blast - in particular its ability to move the OBV can indicate the likelihood of success of that trend as it shows the mkt demand here has the ability to dramatically change the overhang or shortage of stock supply - in many cases the OBV barely moves or is negative - so this stock is now in a state of tight supply which will help drive it up the monthly view is a form of filter - only the v largest blasts will show up on the monthly - this removes the majority of stock breakouts leaving only the handful with the highest levels of participation volume is relative - in particular to recent action - so huge 1m slugs of both red and blue may not move price as the battle is equal - but later when things have calmed down - a slug of 100K blue vs 10K red and the blue wins - esp if that 100k is taller than the last ten bars So it's all relative - biggest vs other stocks (mnthly) - biggest vs the last tens bars (itself) - biggest effective demand vs the free float (degree of OBV movement)

Back to business - that's one of the biggest relative inflows - and % chg in OBV (stock supply) on the whole exchange

spend (a modest amount) and get an ADVFN sub @2magpies - out of interest what do you get out of your ADVFN subscription? I pay my broker for live L2, considered ADVFN for company financial data downloads but data quality is sometimes suspect, and the absence of expenses detail in P&L data weakens the product IMO. As for PBB, I can't see the value considering the few really informative posters I've encountered hold free accounts, and the most annoying rampers have premium accounts!

dave45456 Dec '19 - 14:20 - 2050 of 2061 0 3 0 Advfn need to go all premium now ====== I've been saying this for a long time, but they won't do it because they want the hits, which they use to justify to those paying for advertising on the site. People creating multi accounts and spamming the board generate more hits, which is what they want.....

good to filter (immediately) the cross-rampers, especially if someone can't even be bothered to spend (a modest amount) and get an ADVFN sub, they are hardly putting their money where their mouth is

David implies ROCK is going for an opencast 'MINE' -- getting straight to the point!! And just look at these quotes from from David Price (HIMSELF) podcast today: "long way to go with this, it's in its infancy" "good technical team on site" and, especially for new investors: the share price is "cheap as chips at the moment" and "great opportunity to get in now -- a long way to go" Never ever heard that from a CEO of ANY Co.!!
