Definitely not a target for shorting. Announcements point to greater certainty of resource not reflected in the share price They are well funded and the market cap is too low in a bullish sector. It is also extremely volatile and could really catch out shorters with their trousers down. An experienced trader wouldn't short it.

I don't think this has been hyped particularly, if it had the mkt cap would be bigger than it is.

I doubt there's anyone seriously short on this, it's too risky, not much down side from here but only one rns from a double up.

About time shorters got their fingers burnt. I would not object to shorting if they actually used their own shares rather than other people's. The latter is legal but imho still not apt.

"...hole BPL034 demonstrates the vertical continuity of gold and assists with the dip interpretation of the mineralisation. It is also pleasing to see a substantial interval of 22 m @ 2.0 g/t Au being encountered at these shallow depths"

2019 - October

.Hole BPL012 - 12 m @ 2.5 g/t Au
.Hole BPL013 - 16 m @ 1.7 g/t Au
.Hole BPL025 - 177 m @ 0.5 g/t Au

2020 - January

.Hole BPL026 - 154 m @ 0.2 g/t Au (finished in gold mineralisation)
.Hole BPL027 - 171 m @ 0.4 g/t Au
.Hole BPL030 - 171 m @ 0.4 g/t Au

all drilling so far has been RC drilling, for indicative purposes only, so the next drilling is diamond drilling for the purpose of proving and defining a resource to bankable industry standards.

I agree. I was referring to your 'miserable' that you corrected to 'minaable'!

The point of this drilling was to extend the broad interval, previously 117m at 0.5g/t discovered last year, and they proved continuation with 90m at 0.8g/t.

They found what they were looking for.

Good result.

Grades are important, but scale is too, and depth. Low grade but large scale and shallow.

Mors RC drilling results to come, diamond drilling next to satisfy the bankers to industry standard.

The fact that they have contracted a diamond drilling rig implies that they believe this deposit now to be economically viable and therefore a company maker.

This is another SOLG or GGP, we just haven't had the penny drop yet.

grades just so-so, which explains why DP and his merry band went drilling deeper..
different trajectory, same m.o.!

and so the wheel is spun once more...

Yes, but to define a JORK resource they need cores, so diamond drilling will provide these so that assay results can be compiled into a defined resource and eventually reserve once enough data is collected.

Today's results are indicative of a very nice discovery, similar to previous drilling results last year, but 20n at 2g/t at or near surface is very good news, and 43m at 1.5g/t is also very minaable by open pit.

Maybe folk were hoping for 18g/t like ECR St Bailieston, but it is continuation that is key.

Yes, the diamond drilling results are the key ones ahead. As you say, this is now a resource, not an anomaly.

Some profit taking is to be expected given the recent placing, however, the big move up is ahead next month with some solid DD results.

The market doesn't seem to be too impressed by these results today, possibly hoping for much higher grades, but these are compatible with both SOLG at alpala and GGP where grades were also low, but over vast intervals.

Now we know why ROCK decided to drill much deeper. It is very obvious that there is a mountain of easily accessible gold at Plateau.

Yes telbap, the diamond drilling results should be coming in September.

For now in August we get the June RC drilling results coming out.

From rns 29/07/20"Our diamond drilling program continues at the anticipated pace and budgeted rate. Drilling conditions are very good and core recovery is excellent. I will stress that there is a time-consuming process of core orientation, geotechnical and geological logging, core photography, sample interval selection, cutting and sampling to go through even before the samples are sent to the laboratory. In this light, it will still be at least 2 weeks until the first drill hole is sent to the laboratory and then a further 2-3 weeks before results are received.

Low grades but wide interval and shallow too, but ths most important word for me is "continuation" because it implies that there is not merely a gold anomaly but a definable deposit of gold with potentially great value as an open pit resource.
