31/1/2017 18:51 | it's that Methbot and P&G again.. so 1gw's post 3021 questioning why I mentioned both in the same post was wide off the mark... ;-) | sikhthetech
31/1/2017 18:44 | Rhythmone are partnered with white ops I believe? The company that discovered methbot. | lance corporal winstanley ash
31/1/2017 18:43 | Here's shroders take on the p&g statement. Shroder 622 postsP&G Tells DigitalThis can only be good for the sector, note the TAG fraud requirement. Criteo? "P&G also has had an awakening on digital ad fraud, after an audit by consulting firm White Ops found that it didn't have the problem controlled nearly as well as it thought, Mr. Pritchard said. So one step that P&G is taking is to require "any entity touching digital media" it buys to get accredited during 2017 by the Trustworthy Accountability Group, a joint initiative of the Association of National Advertisers, 4As and IAB." | lance corporal winstanley ash

31/1/2017 18:11 | Sikh, what do you think of the current quantcast figures? This is going to be the final and quiestest quarter said Brian.Mind you it was before we purchased Perk?Mobile seems to be a key driving factor imo!IR are metbot clear now as you and Benjamin know full well.Nudge, nudge.Wink, wink. | kendonagasaki
31/1/2017 18:09 | and given you don't comment on other's, like football, posting style, you are picking on me.. | sikhthetech
31/1/2017 18:08 | Gordon - "barkboo - I have no desire to repeat old discussions." well in that case is was impolite to bring me into your argument with Johnny boy, but no problem. Btw - your IP will show up automatically to ADVFN. They know exactly how many nom de plumes a poster uses and what pages are up. | barkboo
31/1/2017 18:07 | 1gw, absolutely... and I have never received any such email... "But I have to make a comment on this: "I told ADVFN it was ok to mail Johnny boy and confirm I had only the one id." Isn't the whole point that multi-id posters don't tell advfn that they have more than 1 id? So unless you give them exactly the same first name and surname when you register a second id they're unlikely to spot that you have 2 id's."" | sikhthetech
31/1/2017 18:03 | barkboo - I have no desire to repeat old discussions. I only brought this up on the other thread to try to show I wasn't "picking on" STT as I had taken a similar approach with you some time ago. But I have to make a comment on this: "I told ADVFN it was ok to mail Johnny boy and confirm I had only the one id." Isn't the whole point that multi-id posters don't tell advfn that they have more than 1 id? So unless you give them exactly the same first name and surname when you register a second id they're unlikely to spot that you have 2 id's. Some posters have talked about ip-monitoring, but I suspect if it is possible it's fairly complicated and time-consuming and not something advfn would want to do without very good reason. | 1gw
31/1/2017 14:15 | Someone mentioned it might be Perk coming through. If that was the case wouldn't our mobile take be increasing (perk 97% mobile)? Assume thats still to come. | loafofbread
31/1/2017 14:08 | P&G.. as I was saying... some of the P&G new rules following the Methbot fraud, which I believe will be the reason for pushing more changes in the future...lol "...Methbot fraud". ..."As a result called on the industry to produce better advertising".. "We serve ads to consumers through a non-transparent media supply chain with spotty compliance to common standards unreliable measurement hidden rebates and new inventions like bot and methbot fraud.” This in turn is leading to a “pretty anemic” growth rate among advertisers, despite spending $200bn on advertising in the US alone. As a result, Pritchard called on the industry to produce better advertising to drive growth, enabled by media transparency to drive a “clean and productive” media chain." | sikhthetech
31/1/2017 14:06 | yep loaf over 40m US views and that's with all the 1R filters in place taking out fraudulent views and third-party ad blockers and yet still we are rising in our quietest quarter of the year.... Let's hope we can turn views into clicks and then into some real profit for a change | football
31/1/2017 13:24 | Very impressive Quantcast numbers. US going through the roof. | loafofbread
31/1/2017 12:04 | Any luck with those Adkarma and Prime links? | loafofbread |
