"Jason Kint, CEO of Digital Content Next, warns that the trajectory looks even worse. He recently calculated that, despite record digital ad spend, there was only 1% growth among publishers other than the big two. “[It’s] essentially a 0% game” he tells min. “It’s a completely unhealthy marketplace, considering the industry continues to pump out press releases bragging it’s growing at 20% year-over-year. It’s simply not true.”"

look at the small trades on here and GKP ...notice the share price movement when they occur...to try and move the share price ..whether higher(1R) or lower (GKP)..

The scaffolders have been busy...

oh and which poster's from the 'family' posts were you referring to....
It just happens that like the 'family' have done for years, you are ONLY interested in MY investment strategy and my posting style and nobody elses... odd that...

You're incredibily naive if you judge someone on the basis of anonymous posts on a BB or buy/sell on the say so of a poster..
if posters repeatedly post blatant lies then it becomes believable to the gullible...
so which posts/posters were they...

And while I'm here, a couple of follow-ups on your posting over the weekend.

1. Who do I speak for? Well no-one but myself obviously. When I said "what people don't understand" I was making an interpretation of various posts that I have seen - perhaps I should strictly have said "what people don't seem to understand..." although I do know for certain that 1 person (me) is in that position. I would say that the high tick count for that post might suggest that my interpretation was reasonable, wouldn't you?

Loaf the phrase you should be looking for is "I've reduced" around July time and I think there's one before the last trading update as well, so you are right that the last trades were sells

STT - I'm not complaining about posting negative news or posting with a sceptical commentary. I welcome counter-views which cause me to look more critically at my own views.

What I'm drawing attention to is the disconnect between what you suggest/imply you are (an investor in R1 who is posting newsflow as it comes along so that all readers are better-informed about their investment in R1) and how you actually post (which appears to be overwhelmingly slanted to the negative, not because the newsflow is overwhelmingly negative but because you manage to impart a negative spin to the items you post and apparently "miss" positive items).

If Loaf's scenario/interpretation is correct - i.e. that you have reduced your holding because of what you feel are problems with the business which the market isn't recognising and you are hoping the price drops so you can buy back cheaper - then your posting style would fit much better with that position.

I wanted to congratulate Digi for his great understanding of so many posters and their positions, as well as his knowledge of this company - Jarvis for being a complete gentleman as well as his knowledge of this company - Loaf, for being one step ahead of the opposition, and a shrewd guy as well as his knowledge of this company - Shroder for his long outside shift and inside contacts that he shares, as well as his knowledge of this company - and of course all other family members that have been thoroughly decent during this hard time, and their knowledge of this company.

1gw,

Your post is so wide off the mark... but it's your opinion...I'm sure the gang will love it and give you lots of votes up... keep a post in top posts every week until nearer the results....

I post industry articles and often do not comment on them...
I do the same on Pace... go have a look, I posted articles and often do not comment on them, do I??? go have a look...

Ad Industry is fast moving and articles appear DAILY... the same is not true of Pace or TLY... news articles don't appear so often, do they????....

My view on 1R/blinkx hasn't changed since I 1st bought, years ago.... I've always maintained if they provide clarity, address the issues and backup their comments with decent figures then the share price will take care of itself...

I have the same views on all my shares... when Pace had problems with Thai flooding and Japanese Earthquake, did anyone curse the posters for mentioning the news.. NO, everyone took the news and decided for themselves what to do with their investment... I reduced my holding and bought back once I could see that the bad news was in the share price .. They changed their Management and addressed the issues of component supply, didn't they.... so I increased my holding..

I haven't seen 1R address all the industry concerns... That's my opinion...

If you don't like the news articles then filter or ignore me... simple...

1gw, I was referring to your intepretation of Big Bear's post...
my apologies for quoting your post...

If you read Big Bear's quote... 1R had it under review in Aug, Rubicon recently said that they were slow to adopt...

My intepretation is that 1R didn't adopt it until recently...

If I recall correctly rhythmone mentioned at the q&a that they have a headerbidding solution and it being part of an overall suite of products. Lots of info on Prebid.org and Prebid.org/download.html There's lots of info out there if you care to look for it.

2. Can you own shares in R1 and still want the share price to fall? You seem to be suggesting that since I have seen evidence that you did at one point own shares then I couldn't reasonably believe that you want the share price to fall. Well to give you just one scenario that I believe is plausible: your posting history seems to me consistent with primarily being driven by wanting revenge on other posters or even the company for past "bad" behaviour. i.e. even though you might own shares and so suffer financially from the share price going down, that might be outweighed in your own mind by schadenfreude - the pleasure you would take in feeling that your "enemies" were suffering more.

Header bidding.

Why would you quote me referencing Big Bear, STT, rather than go and look at the source, since you are clearly very adept at searching the bulletin boards? Unless you wanted to give the impression that R1 must have missed the boat perhaps?

What Big Bear actually reported back from the AGM (in his "Thursday's AGM - Further Notes detail" post of 20th June on the ii board) was as follows:

"12. Does Header Bidding in real-time have relevance for us? This topic came up when I was talking to Richard Nunn, our new Chief Revenue Officer. Like other posters here, I really didn’t know much more about HB, I’ve never posted about it, and I recall that Tricky had previously asked about its relevance to us , Richard is very knowledgeable on this – he explained to me that HB was originally driven by publishers with Google (DoubleClick) wanting more choice, so we’re certainly keep it under review, but unlike many of our competitors we do also offer a full-stack end-to-end solution."

So R1 coming out with a blog post on header bidding now seems to me compatible with the "keep it under review" stance taken at the AGM, rather than some sort of acknowledgement that they are late in this area.

John John - "Strange how 3 senior staff Ed, Dwight and Sudhi have all left within the last few months (I assume you know they all worked for 1R) before the company became profitable...

I assume you also know that, despite Sudhi leaving 6 months ago, his position as Chief Product Officer has still not been filled...Bhaskar is still SVP.."

"according to trades chart, 100k sell..."

Your nonstop unbelievable effort in getting people to sell this stock is disgraceful! You will not even commit to expressing your view, no doubt when this goes to 240p you will tell readers that you never once told anyone your view was a sell.

A very slippery, nasty piece of stuff - and so are your followers!!!!

Loaf,

Strange how 3 senior staff Ed, Dwight and Sudhi have all left within the last few months (I assume you know they all worked for 1R) before the company became profitable...

I assume you also know that, despite Sudhi leaving 6 months ago, his position as Chief Product Officer has still not been filled...Bhaskar is still SVP.. I missed your helpful post informing everyone that his position has still not been filled...;-)

What did BM say about Sudhi's appointment...

"Sudhi is an accomplished technology executive with an impressive career history in the security and mobile space, working with some of the leading technology brands in the world. He is a key hire to fortify our position in an industry moving toward better audience filtering, targeting, and segmentation across screens, with mobile as the lynchpin. Our recent acquisitions continue to bolster our mobile and video capabilities, positioning us squarely in the two leading growth vectors of the industry. Sudhi will bring to bear his vast mobile, technology and product leadership experience to drive innovation across the Company and maximize our growth potential in these areas. Sudhi's product and engineering role dovetails perfectly with the operational and sales alignment already in progress within the Company - one that we expect will help blinkx accelerate its mission to lead the cross-screen video movement, at scale."
