It's a shame new Isa year not until 6th April I would of definitely put 20,000 in for a 12% yield 2400 pounds tax free.

So sanctions on 3 high net worth individuals and 5 banks.
Does not affect Raven. Nord stream 2 put on ice.

In for a chunk this am. Averaged down nicely and locked in a 12% yield. What could go wrong? I’ll risk it.

Thought Swift removal was off the table due to the Germans, but be interesting to see what sanctions Biden's actually proposing.

Also what Putin does next.

In meantime, MMs will make out like bandits on wide spreads.

If Biden carries out his threat to prevent Russia using the swift system...how will our dividends get paid??

Bought a rather small and slightly nervous amount at 91.2p. Hard to imagine this was pushing 120p only a few months ago.

so far sanctions are only on the DPR and LPR, not Russia, aiui.

My reading is that the sanctions will not affect the payment of the dividend, but it's understandable that some people will want to de-risk.

Article from pre-Ukraine.

Bought RUSP in the 70's, been in & out of RAVP. But each to their own, good luck.

@montyhedge - I know you're in POLY too.

JRS off 11% today, fwiw.
