04/9/2002 12:50 | Three MMs have cut their prices within the past 20 minutes, after not moving for 4 hours... I'm away tomorrow so daren't hold a position unfortunately. No related movement today yet in CLDN | m.t.glass

Alphabay Limited Artcrown Limited Cedarpower Limited Meronbrook Limited Skychart Limited Total £11,080,584 1,033,693 5p Ordinary Shares have been issued as part consideration in connection with the acquisitions. (see RNS item ) | m.t.glass
04/7/2002 23:37 | MTG Knew u couldn't resist it!!!! | byrdsong
04/7/2002 23:16 | That slight downward price change has prompted Cantor to bias their spread downwards, so quoting 689p to open a Sept short. Any further fall will bring quotes into the sub-£7 narrower spread range. I'm in with a tiny short for now. | m.t.glass
04/7/2002 23:11 | alexx That's right. There r some probs people have been reporting with their roll overs when u r long - so u need to keep an eye on it. IG blame comp problems. There is no effect from interest rates as far as i can tell. They simply take the bid/offer and add their published %. I find them a lot better than weekly bets and after a period when i only traded cfds I now am now spreadbetting again much more. off a bit this am. | byrdsong
04/7/2002 12:13 | MTG lol! | byrdsong
04/7/2002 12:00 | I hope you aren't suggesting that I am swayed by BB chit-chat. I'll have you know this was a decision based on deeply serious analysis... which I shall be doing very soon. | m.t.glass
04/7/2002 10:57 | And for further comparison at current market price Cantor s/bet addition would be 9p fq, 7p nq, 4p fw, 3p nw. £7 is a priceband threshold with Cantor, beneath which those additions would drop to 7p, 5p, 3p and 2.5p ...so if successfully shorting your exit spread beneath £7 would incur those lower added spreads when covering. Eg: A far week bet today will be quoted at +4, and if closing during next week below £7 would be +2.5p | m.t.glass
04/7/2002 10:27 | BYRDSONG - hadn't realized such a thing existed, so your in and out cost would be ( with this morning's prices as an example ) sell at 698, buy 712 ( cost 14 ), mine would be sell 703, buy 722 ( cost 19 ) but I get 7.5p interest if I hold for 5 months your deal looks a bit better? any interest involvement for your method | alexx
04/7/2002 10:00 | alexx I've got a daily IG short on rat with automatic rollover with a 4 pt spread on top of mkt spread. IG's sept s/bet would prob be about 7 or 8 pt premium. CMC seem expensive on seaq stocks. | byrdsong
04/7/2002 07:10 | added a few this morning, DEC bet market 700/10, CMC 690/710 | alexx

25/6/2002 08:47 | "..Growing speculation of an imminent profit warning took Rathbone Brothers down a further 62.5p to 677.5p, The Times says. However, analysts think the private client fund manager is unlikely to make a trading statement until after the end of its first half on June 30..."
